The Surf Shack is an inviting getaway space, boasting a spacious lounge and open plan kitchen area. An intentionally styled beachy vibe carries through this loved home with all of its original retro features retained.

When you rent the Surf Shack you also gain access to the “Gundi” - our romantic bungalow located right outside the back door of the house.

With complete beach frontage - you take a step out the door and the sand is under your feet within moments.

Featuring a newly completed wood fired pizza oven, open the front doors, bake pizzas off the deck and have a warm summers night ocean breeze carry the delicious aromas through the house. Or simple stroll across the road and have a picnic or bbq on the beach.

Relaxed Beach Vibe

This beach house is located within walking distance of the amazing Point Leo beaches. We enjoyed the relaxed outdoor dining spaces equipped with bbq and a pizza oven after our days on the beach. The garden was beautiful and very well maintained. Overall, very comfortable and well equipped for a holiday by the beach!

This is a lovely place that is well located, spacious and clean. The only problems we had related to communication. The owner didn’t get back in touch with us with check in information, so we were forced to get on the ferry, not knowing how we would get in to the property. This added unnecessary stress. There were no notes left for us at the property and we couldn’t find the wifi password. This made it difficult to find anywhere to have dinner on the night of our arrival. This could have been avoided with better communication. I was supposed to do a video interview the afternoon we arrived and I couldn’t do it without the wifi password. Check out was supposed to be at 11am, according to the website but the cleaner arrived at 10:18. She was very pleasant but it’s unpleasant to feels rushed out of a place because the cleaner hadn’t been given the correct check out time. All problems related to communication. The owner should try to fix these because they detracted from a lovely property.
