This beautifully remodeled studio located in the Lakeland Village Lodge is the perfect romantic Tahoe retreat! Lakeland Village is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe with something for every family member. Lakeland Village lodge units provide an ideal location for guests seeking convenient access to nearby attractions. Being located near the main road, you may notice some ambient noise, though many of our guests have found it to be a worthwhile trade-off for the proximity to the area’s main activities. The unit comes equipped with a wall-mounted air conditioning unit to maintain a cool temperature during summer months, and additional fans are provided to enhance comfort. Please note, due to the layout, loft areas may feel warmer, but thoughtful cooling solutions are in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Nice rental. Bed pillows could be upgraded.You can hear everything from floor above.Every step they took you could hear.Lots of paperwork and correspondence due to rental and much of it seemed unnecessary.Otherwise, very comfortable stay.

Our property that we normally stay in was damaged in the recent snows so this year we had to make other arrangements. We loved, loved staying here. The place was clean, it had everything we needed, even if we didn’t find it for a couple of days. The management staff was easy to get ahold of, very friendly. My husband and I will be back.

No view , very small but comfortable.

I was disappointed in the condo as far as view and it is very old and the building really mildew smell. The condo was cute and comfortable but very very very small. Bed is very comfortable. We decided to go to another condo up near incline village. So much prettier and condo was awesome up there.

Unexpected fees for damages

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed my stay there but was hit up with ridiculous fees. A week later was charged for a “broken door that we didn’t brake.” Our room smelled like smoke when we arrived. I feel like we got charged for the previous people. The charges were unfair.

Adorable!

The unit itself was fabulous- it was well equipped, and had everything we needed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of clarification regarding the location of the unit itself. It would have been helpful to list in the description or in the documentation somewhere that the unit was actually inside the lodge. We drove around the complex a couple of times, trying to figure out where 225 could possibly be. We found it because we went inside the lodge to ask for help. I just feel like this could’ve been spelled out easily in the check in directions. All in all great visit- great stay, would definitely recommend

Great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The studio looks exactly like in the photos, cozy and comfy, perfect for 2 people. You can see the mountains from the window. The kitchen has all the basic utensils, pots, drip coffee maker etc, not in great condition, but usable. The complex hot tub is spacious enough, and we loved the pool next to it (cooler than the tub, but still heated). Ski shuttle situation is a little tricky I think. There is a bus stop for a regular bus just in front of the lodge, but that only runs every hour. The winter ski shuttle to the gondola is every 30 mins, but the shuttle stop is somewhere a longer walk away, we didn't figure out where. Also, there are no direct bus routes neither to California nor Nevada lodges, only to the gondola. We used our car to get to the lifts.

Well Appointed Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was tastefully decorated and well-equipped kitchen with a Foremans grill on the balcony. The fireplace is beautiful and everything was comfy and cozy. The village is quaint to with a short walk to the lake--this unit has no view of the lake however. The complex itself was undergoing some renovations but didn't interfere with our stay. The place however is not well-insulated and the kids who were directly above us hit the ground running every morning at 6 a.m. and we could even hear them counting as they played...there needs to be better insulation between units;) Other than that, we enjoyed our stay as it was centrally located and quiet at night! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!

Our stay at Lakeland village was very relaxing & enjoyable. Lake Tahoe is as beautiful as everyone told us. Our room/studio was clean, spacious, comfortable & well equipped. Things that we loved: Close parking, walk to a wonderful & clean beach, well equipped kitchen & many attractions were within walking distance. There are comfortable lounge chairs on the beach & large beach towels in the room. Ice water & coffee in the lobby. Brochures available too. The pool & sauna area was very nice. Really the only slight problem we had was the front desk staff was a bit dismissive when we arrived. When we had a few questions about checking in & resort amenities. As soon as they found out we were renting through VRBO, they said they weren’t really able to help us. Then while relaxing on the beach a man asked if I was a guest because I didn’t have a wrist band. I had my phone with me & showed him my confirmation. He explained that the front desk had the wrist bands & should have given them to us upon arrival. Just a small inconvenience.

Great unit, great location

Walked to the grocery store a couple of times, ate at a nearby restaurant, etc. Kiddo stayed on the hide-a-bed and it was very comfortable for her. No poking wires or anything in the mattress. King size bed was comfortable for us parents. Went to one of the pools a couple times and it was super cold, but refreshing on a hot day. Going to the beach was nice though there was quite a lot of seaweed. The lake at that location was much warmer than the pool! Was warm in Tahoe and A/C worked but only OK. It blows cold air right onto the side of the bed with no way to direct more into the room, which is a problem for the person sleeping right by it at night. However, that is a minor complaint and the overall unit was very good. The location is great because it is close to the elevator which opens into the parking garage. Definitely appreciated that a lot since the car was out of the elements. Would definitely recommend or stay there again!

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was located within a rundown lodge that has seen better days, and this felt like false advertising based upon the VRBO descriptions, etc. The construction projects were constant, and so were the smells from the dumpsters (two were located right outside of the room). The view we had from our room was one of a dilapidated hotel across the way. Parking was a mess due to construction and vehicles constantly blocking access points.The room itself was ok. However, there was an odor that would waft in at times, which we could only assume was coming from one of two dumpsters. The room above us was very loud and you could hear the floor squeak when people did the smallest of movements, always quite noisy especially in the middle of the night.We had three towels during our week long stay, and felt like that should’ve been restocked at least once. The outlets in the room were a bit hazardous, as many things were plugged into one outlet, especially in the kitchen. Overall, they tried to create a diamond in the rough, but this was the wrong place to do it in. There are so many nicer places in Lake Tahoe for similar costs, and I would highly recommend that you check those out instead.
