Traditional Villa built circa 1910 with original period features including Kauri floorboards, sash windows etc. Three double bedrooms, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with large open fire.

Property includes modern purpose built games room with bar area, pool table, table tennis table, dart board, large screen TV, record player and log burner (for winter) and large pergola area (for summer).

Property is approx 900m from the town centre and walking distance to a number of local vineyards, bars, cafes and restaurants.

Property is pet friendly, with fully fenced backyard.

Note - main dwelling is over 100 years old, do not book if you are looking for a modern accommodation option.

Cosy, comfy, great location and fun!

Had a great girls weekend in Marti with this as home base. Plenty of wood for the fires which kept us toasty and a lovely location right next to Palliser. Everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, lots of towels and blankets.

Weekend away

This is normally a great property with the games room, that we have stayed in before. However we do think soap should be provided in the bathroom, there was only a nearly empty handsoap for the basin. Also the cobwebs everywhere should really be cleaned away, they are not nice at all.

Great venue and location

Had a great time with friends. Excellent base for activities around the area, than able to go back and chill comfortably, or play games in outdoor room.

Weekend Away

Great location. Stayed for 2 nights after hiking Mt Holdsworth. Easy walk into the Martinborough square. Outdoor games room and patio beautiful on a sunny day. Left an item behind and Karen returned it with no charge. Only build is pillows in 2 bedrooms were very thin.

Great place

Close to the local shops and not far away from the main centres nearby. Nice and private and not seen from the main road which was good.

Great property

House is great, particularly the external games room and surrounding grounds - could just do with a proper clean inside and out, and vegetation needs a prune. Amazing location, quiet area and perfect for a few nights or longer

Amazing place to stay

The Mans cave/games room really makes this place and sets it above other stays. A great place to socialise with the whole family. Comfy beds, hot shower and everything you need for your stay completes the package. Thank you, ive already recommended the place to others.

Comfortable Villa stay

We really enjoyed this property, and the games room was a fabulous place to hang out at the end of the day. Very close to wineries and walking distance to town.

Quick getaway with our dog

The cottage was perfect for our stay. Was awesome to be able to have our dog with us because of the fully fenced backyard. Awesome surroundings, vines for miles. The games room is an added bonus!

Ladies weekend

Got together for a family 30th at this lovely,private, well fenced dog friendly house with amazing separate games area. It was perfect to get everyone together without putting pressure on any one to open up their own home. Absolutely brilliant

Short getaway

Absolute gem of a spot. Great feel to this histrionic villa. We loved the wooden floors and all other wooden features. The open fire place with comfortable leather couches was a hit for both the humans and dogs! The fact that the games room was seperate from the house was ideal for a change of scenery and activities. We spent the entire 2nd afternoon building Lego, with a roaring fire, pizzas and sipping on red wine.

Beautiful stay

Really loved the stay at this villa. The games room was a big highlight and situated right between the wineries we wanted to visit. The fires were a bonus too! Thanks for the stay.
