The commodore is the best

perfect staff! Gerald (Jerald) not sure how to spell his name... was always helpful our entire trip. He would have helped with anything if we asked him to. He has an incredible attitude and we really enjoyed his service. The commodore is perfect if you want to be away from all the madness. peaceful beaches and a well kept condominium. we will be back! This has nothing to do with our place we stayed at but the coastal beach service for chairs, ETC is not the group you need to call. call any other beach service if possible! Coastal beach service shame on you for stealing my money.

Decent

The room was ok. Outdated, but I knew that when I booked, so no complaints. The coffee maker, however, needs replacing. There were brown stains in the water reservoir. Floor didn’t feel clean upon arrival, but not terrible. Dust was accumulated in the bathroom and tv stand. There were no blankets for the sofa bed. Other than these things, the room served its purpose. Location was nice. Walk to the beach was not far. Balcony was huge and had a great view. I would stay at the Commodore again, but maybe not the same room.

Great spot in PCB!

The unit was well kept and had everything we needed! Loved the beach view, especially from the bedroom. Spacious, clean, and close to everything in the area! Would definitely recommend.

Great Trip

PCB Getaway

The condo was exactly as pictured and advertised. It was very clean! We loved having the balcony right off of the bedroom. You could lie in bed and always have an ocean view. Nice balcony furnishings allowed for breakfast and evening cocktails. The beach service was a very nice amenity!

Great views

We really enjoyed the location and views. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the dishes and utensils, which had dried food on many of them. Other VRBO'S that we have used were immaculate with well stocked kitchens, this unit was lacking on both accounts. The microwave door was broken, the ceiling fan over the bed could not be turned off as the switch was broken, the master bath ceiling fan was very noisy and on its last leg and the floors were not very clean. The condo itself was a nice place, with cleaning, some maintenance and upgrades, it could be a great place.

A bit disappointed

Be prepared to be awaken even morning at 8:30am by the friendly maintenance man as he gives a daily what not to do over the PA system which you cannot turn off. The sofa bed was broken and unsafe for the kids to sleep on. While maintenance came and looked at it right away the next day, and while we were told a new sofa bed had been ordered, it didn’t arrive during our stay and no communication regarding alternative sleeping arrangements, as we were dependent on the bed for the boys to sleep on. The mattress was ripped and falling apart, we found dirty sheets on a filthy mattress, the mesh on the frame was missing springs so the mattress would fall through if attempted to use. We had to purchase an air mattress for our stay or the boys were going to have to sleep on the hard floor. Property managers again, never offered an alternative arrangement. The bathroom off the kitchen is missing a good section of the paint from the drywall. There were no additional trash bags or toilet tissue, we had to purchase more, which I left for the next occupant. Outside of the sleeping arrangements, and the daily wake up announcement, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was comfortable. I’d spend a bit more and stay somewhere else. This wasn’t our first trip to PCB but will most likely be our last time staying with the management company.

Great condo with amazing views!

What a cozy condo with everything you need! We were close to everything and right on the beach! Gorgeous sunsets! The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the coffee maker, leave for trash bags and more bath towels.

Missing many basics found in other condos, not even two matching sets of silverware, cooking pots, serving bowls. Paint chipped and pealing; unfinished Dirty chairs; one ready to fall apart Torn screen Brown dirt spots on comforter Dusty lamps Not one matching wine glass Glassware cloudy Cheap rug Master sink had no drain stopper; sink is stained. Guest toilet seat needs replacing We contacted the manager and some things were replaced: toaster, flat pillows, teflon pans, shower rugs

Perfect location if you're like us

It was just two of us celebrating a birthday; we're 50-ish so we like a quieter setting away from screaming kids, crowds and traffic. This location was perfect -- walking distance to St. Andrews Park, walking distance to Patches Pub (good food, drinks and live music), easy to turn left out of the complex, easy parking, easy key-pad entry. The unit itself, while slightly outdated, was pretty well equipped and comfortable. The view from the 10th floor balcony was great! Unfortunately, some on surrounding balconies ignored the non-smoking rule and that was a bit of a turnoff when you're trying to relax and breathe in the salt air. No fault of the owners or complex; just inconsiderate people. We would definitely stay here again.

Very Relaxing with an Excellent View

This condo had everything I needed. I could cook for myself, sleep comfortably and relax inside or out. Except for the bathrooms, the ocean was viewable from every place in the condo. Beach access was a short elevator ride By far the best part of the stay was the balcony. Rain or shine I could listen to and watch the ocean. I really enjoyed my stay!

Property needs updating and better cleaning

My experience has been when renting a property from a management company it's not going to be as well maintained as renting from the owners which was the case here. The common area ceiling fan switch was broke and could not be turned off. Sheetrock had been repaired is several places but had not been painted. Curtains and towel racks had been rehung by mounting 1X4 boards on the wall that didn't appear to have been painted. Floors were sandy and there weren't any rugs. While looking for a broom and vacuum cleaner to clean the floors I found a piece of carpet rolled up in a closest which we placed on the floor after cleaning. Plates in the cabinet had water standing on them which brought into question the cleanliness of all dishes. Patio furniture was great.

A pleasant stay

We stayed here for the month of February 2022. The accommodations were nice, but could use some updates. We were quite comfortable and the condo was nicely outfitted with towels, linens, and kitchen items, Communication with iTrip was straightforward and they were quite responsive. Overall it was a nice stay; we would stay here again.

Commodore Vacation

Pros: Great view, with easy access. Perfect size for two. Manager was helpful. Large balcony. Comfortable bed. Cons; Comforter and furniture had a mildew smell. There were dishes in cabinet with dried food on them. The dishwasher was full of excess food. The fold out sofa bed was dirty. The condo was dated, just needed a facelift.
