Great location!

This was a short trip for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The location could NOT be beat. Adorable decor and spotless upon arrival. Our only issue was with the keypad on the door , but that was fixed by the property manager allowing us to use the actual key. Any other questions we had were answered immediately by Sarah. She was great!

Anniversary

The condo was great although we didn't watch a lot of TV there was no local stations for weather. I could never get the door code to work, the manager gave us a key from the lock box which was very nice of her or i would not have been able to enter the condo.

Steps from the beach

Loved how easy it was to access the beach, and have the pool to dip in when the beach was too rough. Everyone we met on the property were very friendly and pleasant! Had a great stay. Room could have been cleaned better.

great location

The location of Sand Dollar Villas is great and it is a short walk to the beach. The balcony is a bonus for watching the waves and sunrise. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The condo would be better with an updated sofa and chair. They were not very comfortable. The curtain panels are thin and make viewing the TV difficult during the daytime. The soap was watered down too much in the bathroom and there were limited towels/wash clothes. The condo was clean and with those few updates it would be perfect.

Sisters get away

Condo is located in a very convenient area to see the sights of Fernandina Beach. Also a wonderful area of the beach & a great view of the beach. The condo has been kept up very nicely. Smaller than some condos we have rented in the past but still a very good size for 4 adults.

Disappointing

The pro's of this property would be the location and view, everything else is downhill from there. When we arrived we saw a sign on the elevator that it was out of order, so we had to haul all of our belongings for a week's stay up 4 flights of steps. It was never repaired the entire week we were there so we had to deal with all of those steps each day. The furniture has seen better days; the couch is sagging and dirty, as was the only other chair in the living room. The remote control for the living room TV had dead batteries so we had to purchase new ones in order to use it. The queen mattress was horrible, king size was a little better. All of the linens were very worn and mismatched. And the bath towels were another story; only one wash cloth and one had towel in each bathroom so if you wanted clean ones you had to do laundry each day. Only one very worn kitchen hand towel as well. Nothing in the unit felt very clean, in fact some of the glasses looked dirty so we had to wash them before we could use them. We have stayed in a lot of beach side condos through the years and this one was the worst by far, beware of booking it as there have to be much better properties in that area for the same price we were charged for this one!

Decent Vacation Spot

The condo was a good place to stay for the short time that I stayed there with my husband and young toddler. It came fully stocked with plates, utensils, pots, etc., so that was a plus. It was nice to see board games and cards to play with as well as books for reading too. The view was definitely worth it as was the convenience to the beach.

Very Cute Unit

We have stayed in other units at this property and this by far was the best. It was updated, clean and has a great view. We weren't familiar with roku so we had a learning curve but we were able to figure it out. However we never figured out where to get the parking pass so we just made our own. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great location and a relaxing stay!

We enjoyed this unit and it's great location. It's pretty centrally located in Fernandina/Amelia and easy to get into and out of. Check in was very easy, all digital and code accessed on schedule. Nice ocean view even from a side view type unit. You can use the elevator or the stairs to quickly be on the beach. We didn't use the pool since it was cold, but it would also be easily accessed. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place!

What a great spot! We very much enjoyed our trip. ! Condo had all we needed, was clean and had a fun beachy vibe. Convenient to shopping and restaurants, with a great view of the beach! We’d love to come back!!

Five star vacation!

This property was perfect! Attention was given to every detail. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked, beautiful view! Close to many delicious restaurants and driving distance from St. Augustine. A great get away that we hope to do again!

Clean but could have been better

The actual condo unit was clean and nice. However, one of the draws for my boys was the pool and unfortunately it was completely drained after the first day and for the duration of our stay. This should have been noted in the advertisements or rent reduced somewhat. In addition, the remote for the TV in the living room didn't work and it wasn't a battery issue. I broached it with the property manager and it was not addressed, so my family watched the NCAA finals in the bedroom. Otherwise, the property manager was nice and responsive.
