A home away from home

We were very comfortable and felt right at home during our stay. The location and the neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. You can just see the ocean from the balcony and hear the waves in the still of the evening…very beautiful and relaxing surroundings !!! The main beach is just a 5 minute walk from the house and the New years fireworks display was absolutely spectacular. There is a nice little coffee shop/cafeteria close by as well as a club/restaurant…both of which served delicious meals. There is also a grocery store and a family fun park near by, so you don’t have to travel very far for all of your family needs…literally everything is just a short drive away which is very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were very impressed with the presentation of the home. It was just like a home away from home and it had all of the comforts and everything that you need right at your fingertips. I highly recommend this property. Thankyou so much for the best holiday and stay that we have had in years !!!

Great house. Plenty of space excellent aspect and so close to the beach. Great host, very easy to deal with and good communication.

Perfect Peaceful Location

The property isn't perfect but you can see it is a work in progress. Air con is only in front main bed and lounge room beside it, a bit pointless as you get the beautiful sea breeze straight in here and the rest of the house can get quite warm and stuffy. Otherwise, just a short stroll to the beach, the bowling club, the take away shop and walking distance to supermarket and Hallidays Tavern. It's a quiet and friendly suburb, you really can't go wrong here.

Great family holiday spot

We loved the views and sea breezes, eating every meal on the verandah. The home was very clean and well kept including the bbq. We had quite a few damp days and noted nowhere to hang our laundry out of the rain and no clothes drier or clothes horse but we made do. The table tennis table and darts were a hit and we enjoyed quiet time in the hammocks. We were pleased to have weather not too hot because the kitchen and bedroom adjacent became quite warm through the day. It was lovely being able to walk 2min to the beach, ride our bikes on the shared pathways and go for coastal bushwalk. We loved the quiet location and look forward to returning.

Great beach house

We spent the week of Christmas here as we had family living nearby. Plenty of room for us as a family of 4. Great location. We loved the short walk to the beach. My teens loved the table tennis and games room downstairs.
