Branxholm Lodge features a comfortable modern lounge and dining area with inside cooking facilities and smart screen TV to relive your daily rides on the big screen. Large undercover entertaining area with BBQ and drinks fridge, plus fire pit with space for the kids to play. There is plenty of room to move and relax.

For the mountain bike enthusiasts there is a bike wash down area and storage.
Located close to forests for the adventure motorbike riders and hiking enthusiasts.

Branxholm Lodge is located on the fully fenced old primary school grounds so there is plenty of room for groups, the family to relax and the kids to play. Great for a BBQ with friends, or to celebrate a birthday.

Great alternative for accomodation if you are visiting Derby for mountain biking

Great to have a room for bicycles. Had a lovely dinner at Pinnochio's restaurant. Close to Derby for riding with accomodation at a reasonable price. Lots of beds if you are travelling with lots of friends.

Fantastic place, highly recommend!

It’s tough trying to find a place that accommodates for larger groups of friends, but we all agreed that Branxholm lodge was one of the best places we’ve stayed! It was very clean, had plenty of space and very well set up for groups, with a speccy view down into the valley and a fire pit. The owners met us on arrival and were very friendly and accommodating. Would love to come again and will definitely recommend to others!

Perfect for our needs

The school house was so comfortable and exactly what we needed for our getaway - it felt like being on a luxury school camp. Will definitely stay again.

Great stay

Sam was really nice to deal with - she was super understanding when we changed the booking last minute due to uncertainty around COVID. The property was great. Nice and quiet which I like. Unfortunately it was raining a lot and we didn’t get to try the fire pit though - next time!

Perfect for our large family tribe!

Everything was clean and easy to find. The hosts were lovely and friendly (as was Oden the friendly dog). It made our first stay in Tasmania, a positive and relaxed one. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay!

Perfect setup for a large number of guests or a few! Great location and set up for mtb riders, with wash bay area and secure storage. Comfy beds and all the equipment you need for a comfortable stay.
