Nice property. No more koi pond.

The property wasn't cleaned properly. Pet fur/hair was everywhere. Refrigerator wasn't working properly and putrid water was left for us to clean. They masked it with airfresheners. We had to wash kids bedding ourselves it had chips and hair in it. There were little things that wasn't right but all in all the property needs a thorough cleaning and maintenance before putting back on market. Pros: It had nice location to few beaches and boardwalk was enjoyable for the family.

Doggie Paradise!

The spacious fenced in yard, big patio, and large open indoor spaces were perfect for our small family and two dogs. We will gladly return to this cozy spot.

Good stay

House was overall good and as expected from the description. It was in a good locations with only a few blocks from the main part of town that was easily walkable. I am in construction so I noticed a few minor things around the house that are in need of repairs, but nothing major that would cause me not to stay at the house in the future.

Home away from home

We had an extremely enjoyable stay. The house was very well appointed, clean and organized. There was a welcome board and refreshment basket awaiting us when we arrived. The fenced in backyard was great for our kids! Beds were comfortable, location was great, and we plan on returning. It really felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much! 😊

My stay at Coastal Hideaway

The inside of the house was beautiful. It was fully equipped with everything you could think of. It was a short drive to the beach and other attractions. I will book again. I had a wonderful stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The Koi House was the perfect stay for our bachelorette weekend! Walkable to the beach & boardwalk, plenty of sleeping space, great parking. The house has the cutest aesthetic, we all loved the deck and outdoor surfboard shower. Note; the air outside is THICK with flies/mosquitos (unavoidable in coastal NC) so be sure to pack bug spray.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved our stay at the Koi House! The location was perfect, just a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Your home is beautiful and was just right for our group of 8! We enjoyed eating a couple of meals in, playing cards, and just relaxing after our days at the beach. We hope to return soon!

Coastal Hideway is a GEM

This was our second stay at the Koi House and it was wonderful! We love the location. A half mile walk to restaurants and the boardwalk AND the quiet neighborhood. Our pups love the fenced in yard (peace of mind for us!). The house itself is well appointed, very clean AND comfortable...we feel at home as soon as we arrive. The back deck is perfect for morning coffee and quiet time. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Charming fully loaded house with all the amenities you could want about 7 blocks from middle of Carolina Beach at Boa swallows. Little bit of a walk in the heat with chairs, towels etc. Bit well worth it.

Comfortable Stay

The Koi house is very well kept and is perfect if you are bringing your pet and/or children. Yard space for pets is plenty - we have a 65lb dog and were able to play in the yard. The bedrooms worked well for our teenagers. The neighborhood is very quiet and neighbors out for walks were friendly. The house is very close to the main sidewalk path which heads straight down to the boardwalk/beach. It is also a very quick drive to the grocery store. If you prefer to cook your meals as we did, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, containers, silverware, and many other supplies you would find at your home - that was a nice suprise.

Great Place

This place is a really nice place to stay. It's not far at all away from the beach. This home gives you a welcome home feeling as soon as you walk in the front door. The backyard is totally fenced in which is great for pets. Our beds were very comfortable and the couch was the same way. Most of the deck at different times of the day is shaded which is also great. I will definitely rent this place again and recommend it to anyone else who is going to Carolina Beach or Wilmington. The house isn't far from Wilmington and downtown around the waterfront you can see the USS North Carolina from there which is beautiful. I rented a golf cart for the week which was great to get around in. The only problem I had with the golf cart was there wasn't many parking spaces for rentals most of the ones I saw had license plates.

Peaceful getaway

This place is very welcoming as soon as you walk in the front door it screams welcome home. It's in a very quiet neighborhood which is great if you want to escape the daily Hussle and bussle. The neighbors are very nice and friendly there kids are very respectful they love shooting hoops in there driveway I think it's great. I would definitely book this place again in the future.
