The Olive Grove, Lake Eildon
This holiday home is the perfect secluded spot for a long weekend or an extended stay. 400 metres of private lakefront access, surrounded by a beautiful Olive Grove within the 18 acre property, with stunning lake views and rolling hills. Relax with friends, or extended family in the peaceful surroundings of Bonnie Doon and Lake Eildon.
The Olive Grove, Lake Eildon, consists of a lovely 4 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home, with a bungalow adjacent to the main property that includes a bathroom and shower. The property sleeps up to 12 guests. Feel free to view the floor plan within the listings photos.
The Olive Grove, Lake Eildon's bedding configurations include:
Main property:
- Bedroom 1: Queen bed (sleeps 2)
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed (sleeps 2)
- Bedroom 3: 1 Bunk bed (sleeps 2)
- Bedroom 4: 2 Bunk beds (sleeps 4)
- 1.5 bathrooms (2 toilets & shower)
Bungalow:
- Bedroom: Queen bed (sleeps 2)
- 1 bathroom (1 toilet & shower)
The property has roughly 400m of lake frontage, accessible via two access points (aka two private roads). To determine which private road is suitable for you if you are to bring a boat, it will depend on the following variables: your car type; boat type; and the water levels at the time of your stay. In addition, there is a public boat ramp available roughly 2.5km - 3km from the property, which you can use anytime.
Please note some additional information to consider before your stay..
- MINIMUM STAYS: We have a minimum stay between 3 - 7 nights over the Victorian Public Holidays, otherwise all other dates is a minimum of 2 night stays.
(3 night minimum: Australia Day, Labour weekend, Kings Birthday, AFL Grand Final weekend // 4 night minimum: Easter, Anzac, Melb Cup weekends // 7 night minimum: Christmas & New Year period)).
- STRICT NOISE RULES: Please read our house rules before you decide to book!
We have a limit of 12 guests max, no extra visitors without prior permission by the host/owner.
- CCTV: We have CCTV set up to external entrances, which comply with all privacy regulations.
- WIFI: Now available. Log in information will be provided just before check in.
- CELLPHONE RECEPTION: Is extremely limited at the property depending on what provider you are with.
- RUBBISH: A rubbish bin & recycling bin are provided empty for your stay. If you have excess rubbish and recycling and cannot be stored in the bins, please either take with you, or you will be charged an additional fee for rubbish disposal.
- CAMPING/TENTS: We do not allow camping or tents at the property.
- OUTDOOR SHOWER: The outdoor shower runs off the bore water.
- HIGH CHAIR: Available on request.
- ACTIVITIES: Table tennis is available.
- CLEANING NOTES: Please return the property to the way it was when you first arrived, otherwise we may be required to take an additional cleaning fee from the security bond. If the BBQ has to be cleaned by the cleaners, $50 will be deducted from your security bond.
- OUTDOOR SPA: The outdoor spa is available on request at an additional cost. The outdoor spa instructions/rules will be provided before check in and are available within the welcome booklet and next to the spa. By paying the additional cost for the outdoor spa before check in, it is understood that you agree to the outdoor spa rules for your duration of stay. We suggest reviewing the temperature of the spa on arrival to ensure it's at the right temperature as per the instructions of use. If you are staying for a long duration, there may be an external service cost to keep the spa clean & usable. If there are any damages due to non adherence to the outdoor spa rules, repair costs will be adequately charged to the guests after check out.
- FIREWOOD: Sufficient firewood is provided at the property for your booked duration. If additional firewood is required for your stay, you can purchase it at an additional cost to you from the local service station within Bonnie Doon or Mansfield.
- DOG POLICY: Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please check in with us before you book to ensure the property is suitable for your dog and to discuss the specifics for your stay (i.e. the property fencing, wildlife, where your dog will sleep, cleaning up after your dog etc etc). If your dog is a bed/bedroom sleeper, then unfortunately this property is not right for you. Please note, there may be additional cleaning fees charged post stay if extra cleaning is required. Maximum of 2 dogs per booking.
- EV CHARGING - Is available on request, so please speak with us before checking in to discuss the additional charge.
