Comfy Condo

This condo is in a great location and easy to get to. The bed was super comfy and the unit had everything you need. Very pet friendly with nice outdoor space. Would definitely stay there again.

Great home

We recently stayed in Seven Devils Hawks Peak. The condo was very clean and we had easy access to the property. It was so convenient to town and my families home. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was beautifully decorated and was in a wonderful location. We found everything we needed except extra towels and wash cloths. We went to the store to purchase a few extra. The set up was just perfect for a wonderful 4 day get away. Thank you for everything. Teresa G.

Boone Weekend

The location to Boone was perfect! The condo was just right for the two of us and the bed was so comfortable. There was a minor snafu with housekeeping on arrival but the issue was immediately handled by Ricky/cleaning crew! He was great.

Seven Devils

Excellent location to get to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock areas. Condo was very nice, I think the owner needs to do some upkeep on a couple of things. The property manager was excellent in our calls about a few things. I definitely would like to work with him, Ricky, again on another place in the area.

Late summer on Seven Devils

We had a wonderful two week stay in this unit. It was very comfortable, close to many of our interests, pleasant walks through the neighborhood and a well equipped kitchen. We cooked many meals right at home. I have two suggestions for the owners. There were several items that should be addressed, which we did leave with the property manager. Also, since we had stayed here three years ago, the view is definitely a limited Mountain view because of tree growth. I would suggest updating the picture on the site.

Peace in the Mountains

The location was amazing. We were close to all of the activities we had planned. Our dogs appreciated the walks they took through the mountains. The guest bathtub could have been cleaner. Much like the guest bed comforter looked unclean and hair was in the bed.

Overall nice experience

My family and I enjoyed the home. We were comfortable. The heater in the master bathroom was so nice! The master bed was also very nice! There were several broken items and areas where cleaning had been skipped over. Overall we were very happy with the home and would love to return if heading to that area again. Thank you so much for having us!

Comfortable Condo for Ski Trip

The condo is nicely renovated and comfortable. Check in and check out processes were super easy. Unfortunately, the sofa bed had dirty linens left on it and there were no extra linens provided. We reached out to our host contact and never heard back.

Comfortable home

Really enjoyed this condo, it was clean except a few stains on the living room carpet, grass out back needed cut and the curtain rod in the master bedroom was pulled away from the wall, but other than that is was a great place to stay

Sweet Condo in Perfect Location

Nice/clean 2Br/2Ba Condo!! Located in Seven Devils and just a short drive to Boone and Banner Elk. Many things to do all around. We had 2 adults, 4 children. Slept okay. One child slept on the couch instead of 2 children on the pull-out couch. The pull out couch mattress is not comfortable, very thin and lumpy. Recommend replacing or not advertising as a place to sleep.

Extremely comfortable

We stayed in the condo way more than anticipated because it was so well equipped and comfortable! We all enjoyed our time relaxing, that we went to the grocery store and opted to eat in, instead of going out, which in turn saved us a ton if money! I can’t say anything negative other than the check in wasn’t what was emailed, but the property manager quickly made it right. So thanks Rick! Wonderful experience and if we’re ever going ti visit the area again, we’ll definitely stay here!

Cabin needs updating!

There a few rentals in the area that accept pets. This happens to be one. However for the pet fee you pay, you would expect that there would be attention to detail when cleaning the unit. We found dog hair all over the furniture. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dust everywhere. All in all the place is in need of updating.

Good location

My husband and I spent two weeks at the condo and were pleased with the location and convenience to activities and restaurants. It is an older unit that is showing it’s age both inside and outside. But we were comfortable during our stay and the kitchen was well-equipped. It would have been nice to know that there is only one AC unit which is in the living room. Luckily the nights had cool temperatures during our stay. We did have very heavy footed upstairs neighbors during our second week. Certainly no fault of the owner but disturbing in the late evening. Lastly ask the cleaners to be certain to sweep under the coffee table and beds when preparing the unit for the next guest.

Could have been better

The property was fine. Kitchen definitely needs better lighting. Overhead lighting way too dim and under counter lights did not work. Torn sheet in the master bedroom. A contact person was listed for any questions. We were having trouble figuring out the TV and called becuz the written instructions were not working. Contact person didn’t know how it worked but did say it could be the batteries in the remote. Said he would contact the owner but we never heard back from anyone. Finally figured it out on day two but it didn’t work the way the instructions stated. If listing someone to contact with questions I would expect that person to actually help.

Winter trip

The condo was great, but I am taking 1 star off for maintenance. Fireplace not working, no pilot light. My husband didn't want to interrupt our vacation with the issue so we just did without the fireplace. The oven still had some food pieces in it from previous guests. We were left with partially used TP rolls in the bathrooms and only one extra roll, so we ended up having to buy our own TP. The dishwasher top rack was broken, but still useable. Like other reviews - there are a couple of stains on the living room floor, but expected with allowing your fur baby. We had PLENTY of dishes and silverware; however, there is a lack of pots & pans. One pot, med size. There are a couple of pans, but none of them sit flat on the stove. No baking sheets. I am not sure if the unit above us was a short-term rental or not, but they had some feet made of lead. Every morning we were woken up by their excessive steps back and forth in the master bedroom. One night even moving around at midnight. Hopefully, they are a short-term rental as well and nobody else has to deal with that. The unit is NICE - nicely decorated, comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well lit in my opinion as opposed to other reviews. New appliances including toaster oven, 2 coffee makers (Keurig or typical pot of coffee brewer). They provided some Keurig k-cups and have a refillable k-cup too. The master bed/bathroom are spacious and door straight out to the porch. The sleep number bed in the master was AMAZING and we were excited to test out a "sleep number" bed - the ability to firm up or soften the bed was great and can raise the head of the bed if needed, but we kept it flat. The shower was exceptional and they had shampoo/conditioner and body wash available in case you forget. My daughter said the bed in the additional bedroom was very comfortable too. The linens in both bedrooms were clean, soft, and modern. The main bath is a little outdated, but manageable. I didn't even bother to look at the shower head but my daughters took showers in the master bath as they didn't like their shower. Back porch has nice gas grill we used for dinner, 2 seater table & chairs, and 2 seater outdoor loveseat-type seating. SUPER CONVENIENT for letting out your fur baby. There were TONS of tiny little dog poops in the grass though. Where we come from, it is expected you pick up your dogs poop. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home away from home for family of 4 + fur baby.
