Ny stuga belägen i skogen på Quietside av M. D.I. med utsikt över de yttre öarna. Husdjursvänliga. Gångavstånd till stan och Great Harbour Marina med mer än ett dussin restauranger i området samt det kostnadsfria pendelbussystemet (23 juni till Columbus Weekend) till nästan var som helst på M. D.I. och Acadia National Park. Minuter till Acadia National Park, vandring, cykling, kajakpaddling, simning, bergsklättring, fågelskådning, valskådning och mycket mycket mer.
Detta är en ny stuga färdigställd hösten 2011. Ett sovrum med en drottningssäng, sovloft med en dubbel Futon, katedraltak, vardagsrum och matplats med en extrasäng eller luftbädd för extra sömn. Propan spis med en manuell eller termostat kontroll för de kyliga kvällarna vi ibland ser i Coastal Maine. Ekgolv i hela. Fullt möblerad med de flesta artiklar du behöver och på förfrågan försöker leverera alla artiklar du kanske vill ha. Ett heltäckt trädäck med utemöbler och grill. En eldstad och 4 stolar i trädgården och bäckområdet framför stugan. Vi kan rymma så många stora grupper eller familjesammanträden, (14 personer) med våra tre stugor (Homeaway # 956783 & # 3498716).

A perfect getaway

A lovely property with a beautiful rustic cottage. The attached deck is perfect to sit, relax, and enjoy the falling leaves. You are only a few miles from Acadia National Park and walking distance from the harbor. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

NIce stay

Very nice and quiet place in the woods. A grea biking and tracking experience at Acadia parkk. However, the bedroom was a little bit cold during the night.

Perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was quiet, well- appointed and you can’t beat the location. We loved having the balance of feeling that you’re tucked away in the woods but able to walk anywhere to town was a pleasure. Highly recommend Southwest Harbor!

Great place

We repeat this location every year because of the great care that Vicki gives the property. Its a great value and prime location. Each year we return, she has further upgraded the house.

Perfect location and experience

Quiet location in the woods was a wonderful spot to unwind after long days of hiking. Enjoyed the fire pit, exploring the woods, and we enjoyed the uniqueness of an A-Frame cabin in the woods. Vicki was an attentive, and responsive host. Provided us with fabulous hiking recommendations to explore parts of the park we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We would recommend this property to anybody. Thanks again we hope to be back!

The ideal Acadia vacation with pets

My adult daughter (and our dogs) stayed at this absolutely perfect cottage and enjoyed three days of hiking. The cottage seems really new although the lovely owner said they have been renting for 14 years. It was really clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It feels like you are in the middle of the woods but just a minute from the cute town and a very short drive to all of the trails. There are three rental cottages on the property and would be wonderful for a family reunion or larger group. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Incredible little cabin in the woods near Southwest Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Woodland Cottage 3 in Southwest Harbor Maine. It was clean, delightfully appointed, and in a gorgeous wooded setting very near downtown. Great central location for exploring Desert Island and Acadia.

Maine Cottage

We had such a wonderful experience here at the Wooded Cottage. The place was very clean, had great amenities, and was close to everything including Acadia National Park and restaurants. Vicki was very responsive to all of our messages. I would 100% recommend this cottage to family and friends! We definitely plan to come back!

Natural setting only a short walk to town

We love this place because it has all the feel of a camp, but it’s walking distance to southwest harbor shops and restaurants. The air conditioning and heat also made the difference with the crazy weather. One if the beds in the loft is a bit lumpy, but otherwise this place is super comfortable and clean.

Doug Beal, Jr. a 5th generation, lived in Southwest Harbor his whole life. He and his wife, Vicki, owned a Marine Conctruction and Diving Business for 41 years. They decided to start a retirement business, so, they began building seasonal rental cottages. Doug completed 3 of them before he passed away in the summer 2015 ( Homeaway #3498723 and #3498716 ). Vicki is carrying on the business that she and Doug started, together.
The three cottages can house 19 happy vacationers, (for a group looking to vacation, together), or rent one for a family. Woodland Cottages I, II and III, all have great holiday appeal ~
