Our suite is a self contained one bedroom nestled in The Pocket neighbourhood. Minutes to the Danforth, subway and parks. 20 min transit downtown, 10 min Uber. Family friendly—let us hook you up with a packnplay, highchair, toys. Enjoy a bubble bath in the soaker tub, cuddle up for a movie on the couch and drift to sleep in the queen bed while the kids enjoy a sleep over on the sofa bed.

A comfortable place to stay in our own neighbourhood

We had a great stay. We live in the neighbourhood and needed a place to stay temporarily while our house was under renovation, and this basement suite fit the bill for part of the time we needed to be out of our house. So we're not impartial regarding the neighbourhood but if you're considering staying here and you have kids, it's a great spot! There are two large parks within 5-15 minutes walking distance. And if you need to hop on the subway, Greenwood Station is about a 5-10 minute walk away. And there are lots of places to grab a bite to eat. The only real issues we had were: - Re the cleaning equipment; a better vacuum would have been helpful but we get that Vrbo hosts probably don't want to spend a lot of money on items that might disappear. - The dining chairs were uncomfortable but the main factor here for us was that both my husband and I were working from "home". If you don't have to work from "home" they're probably not going to be an issue at all.
