Holidays in Adrian MI

Comfy, spacious apt in a home. Plenty of supplies for an extra fun stay including unique indoor and outdoor entertainment. Great spot for families, friends get-away, college reunion! Warm and helpful hosts. Thanks for a great stay.

Fun Family Getaway!

Stephen and Selena went out of their way to make certain we felt welcomed, and they went the extra mile to meet the needs of our family. We so appreciate the much needed time spent to reconnect as a family. Their home is spacious yet cozy, making it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the game room, the big table for family meals, and board games, the spacious living room with extra seating, and the cozy wood burning stove. We admired all of the outdoor amenities (patio with fire pit, disc golf, hiking trails, playground, etc.) but did not get to enjoy them to their fullest because of the weather. We would like to return when the weather is better to explore the outdoors there.

Amazing stay for the family

This has been our second stay here and was once again amazing. We got to see a lot of deer and the kids absolutely loved to feed them. Had great competition between the adults and kids in the game room. Overall a great and interactive stay for the whole family. 10/10 would recommend

Will stay again

The house was perfect for what we needed/were looking for. Clean, well furnished for fun & necessity, plenty of towels, kitchen appliances. The kids loved playing outside. The adults loved the patio & firepit area.

Perfect for active adults or families with kids.

Our stay was a family reunion of sorts. My mother, her kids, and her grandkids, as well as a great grandkid. There was plenty of beds and space to spread out for our family. My brother was nervous about there only being 1 tv, but none of us even noticed. There was so much to do during our 3 night stay. We spent our days outside in the park like yard and went for several hikes through the woods. We hope to stay here again next year if they'll have us!

Home for Michigan game

The grounds were beautiful! There's definitely so much to do for younger children. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Watch out for the Sasquatch lol 😂. We would definitely return here.

Peaceful retreat

This is such a peaceful retreat! The patio and grounds are beautiful with lots of play options for my young grandchildren. I got to teach them horseshoes and spent lots of time pushing them on the swings. We went to visit my sister who lives in Palmyra, a short 10-minute drive.

Great Stay

We were in town for our daughter's college graduation. We had 6 from out of town. The house was roomy - everyone was quite comfortable. The property was beautiful. Took a couple morning walks and enjoyed deer and rabbits along the way. Far enough out to have peace and quiet, but close enough to town to access stores and restaurants. Kids had a blast in the game room - the old folks kind of enjoyed it too. If we every have occasion to return to Adrian, we will definitely look to book this place again.

Overall it was a good stay

The location of this property is absolutely amazing and for the most part everything was perfect. My only issues are that we didn't find out until after booking that the property is shared with renters living upstairs. This to me is an issue and should be shared before booking. When you rent a Vacation Rental you don't expect people to be onsite. The other small issues are the towels were not fresh and crunchy and the game room was filled with spider webs. All minor issues compared to the amazing feature this property has to offer.

Pleasant rural escape with short drive to nearby towns

Quiet rural setting with many acres of trails and playground equipment and activities for all ages. Our 5-year old granddaughter loved it, as did the rest of us. The 3 main bedrooms and living area are on the first level as you walk in, which is convenient for older people who are not as ambulatory. You can cook meals in the nice kitchen if you like, but we mainly ate at restaurants in nearby towns like Adrian, which is about a 5-10 minute drive away. The nice owners live upstairs and have their own separate entrance, but be advised that you may hear them walking overhead at times. It was no issue to us but some people who may think they have the whole house to themselves may not like this, Also be advised that the road where VRBO is located is not paved, but if you go slowly on it you'll be fine. Many chances to observe wildlife if you like that sort of thing -- deer, chipmunks, rabbits, woodchucks, etc were plentiful.

Lovely property for young kids

Comforting and peaceful

One of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Throughout traveling, I’ve always went through hotels and motels and every time it’s always been disappointing. This, however, has been the best rental property. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and care for us as people first rather than just clients. We had a fun time living here and I know for sure whoever comes across this little gem will too.

Not as Advertised

B I will get the negatives covered first. There are 3 bedrooms but only one has a queen sized bed . The other two had full size beds. There was no air conditioning. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke. Communication from Evolve was not timely. The cost is too much. Now for the positives: the property was as awesome as described and the owners made it fun for the family to search for the Sasquatch on the trails. The Jr Ninja Line was lots of fun and there was a nice outdoor patio and fire pit. The apartment was roomy and we loved the ‘pay it forward’ opportunity to leave items you don’t want to take so the next family could use them. Plenty of toiletry items available. There was a game room with several games to choose from. The darts were broken except for one. There were instructions to help cool the apartment using windows. We felt like the cost was WAY too much especially with the false advertising. It was the first VRBO using Evolve which could have increased the price. We would not use this place again.

Fabulous getaway

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at this home away from home. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had plenty of space to spread out and there were a lot of nice touches. We enjoyed the game room, the patio, and the walking trails. Steve and Selena were great! We would highly recommend this property and hope to stay again sometime!!

Charming country setting

We had everything we could have possibly needed, Selina and Steven were a pleasure to work with! Home was even bigger than we expected and the setting is gorgeous! Highly recommend!
