First holiday in 3 years!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before twice. The verandah was dirty and hadn't been cleaned for awhile. There was a dead rabbit on the path which had been there for some time and stunk..I cleaned it up myself but I did report that it would stink in the bin, nothing happened. We moved the bin out towards the very front of the property. The place has become tired. The bed is small. They have improved the mattress,the bed is small. The garden is overgrown at front, no paths.. with rain constantly getting wet coming and going from house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location and a good setup with a backyard for the kids to run around, nice outdoor seating and bbq facilities. Kitchen and laundry has good facilities. The let down for me was the cleanliness of the house. The floor felt like it hasn't been cleaned and when I swept through the day after arriving there was so much dust and dirt so I don't think the house was cleaned well from previous people who stayed. The windows and blinds were also mouldy which stresses me out with young kids and with a son with asthma. If the house was cleaned to a better level, I think it's the perfect place to stay, which is why we have booked again next year. I just hope it is cleaned better next time.

Quintessential Crescent Head

Breakaway was perfect for our family holiday in Crescent - so close to beach, golf course, Big Nobby walks and the bakery! Well equipped with enough break-out spaces for everyone to find somewhere to read or gather. Great selection of books and DVDs to help everyone get in the holiday mode. Kitchen functional and meal prep made easy by close proximity to well stocked Food Works and Green grocer. Excellent

Great Property

Great property, very clean, close to beach and shops, suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Little luxuries are needed though like tea towels, soap and toilet paper, but overall fantastic house for a holiday stay

Great Easy Location

It was perfect for a 3 night stay. Great location! Walk to the cafe, shops, club and beach! The house is comfortable for 2 adults and 1or 2 kids. The beds need updating and they need to consider the supplies left to be a little more generous for arrival (1 toilet roll, no sugar, no tea towel - the basics) Especially as the shop closes at 6pm and there is nowhere else to get supplies unless you drive into Kempsey. We arrived just before 6pm. Over all fairly clean except for the floors. My baby crawled around and her feet were black very quickly.
