Built by world-renowned Purcell, the contemporary architecture is designed to work in harmony with the rugged Canadian elements. 30ft vaulted ceilings paired with floor to ceiling window walls produce a breathtaking backdrop while you sit back and cozy up in front of the artisan forged grand fireplace.

A set of stairs will lead you up to the main entrance. Awake to picturesque views of Elephant Mountain in the top floor Master Suite with king bed, walk-in closet, and a deluxe ensuite. With views to match, the main floor bedroom has a queen bed and convenient access to a separate bathroom.

A fully outfitted kitchen, complete with stainless Blomberg and Monogram appliances, Nespresso machine and frother (capsules included).

In-floor radiant heat, walk-in rain showers, Haiku smart ceiling fans, Medical-grade central air filtration system, full-size washer and dryer, blow dryer, and iron topped off with luxury bedding and towels will ensure your stay is as comfortable possible.

An expansive open-plan living space is curated with handmade furnishings by local craftsman.

Great Place!

Beautiful house with an even more beautiful view. Clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Owner communication was great and we hope to come back one day.

Although it says to summarize truly you can’t justly summarize the experience “Mountain Haus” provides…This residence is Fabulous…!! Not one thing was overlooked…everything is “top shelf”…way to you two…!!👍👍 We’ve stayed at several VRBO’s… Beau this is the penultimate of VRBO’s…hands down!! Thank you for sharing this with us. Unbelievable views from every room.

Wonderful weekend away with another couple. The views from the house are stunning and the house itself is quite spectacular. This was a good house for our needs - two couples, no kids. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues or small children as the steps into the home are quite steep as well as the steps to the master suite. The bedding and towels were very nice and we all slept well. The drive up the hill to this home is also very steep and in the winter, requires adequate snow tires, etc. One of the bonuses of the location is not only the panoramic views, but it's proximity to a variety of hiking trails, which were enjoyed by all. even in the wintry conditions. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Located on a private, no-thru street above Gyro Park in Nelson. With access out the back door to the infamous 'Rails to Trails' hiking trail, the property backs directly onto the green belt for ultimate privacy.

Steep driveway access leads to outdoor parking space sufficient for 2 vehicles. Access to the front door is atop a set of outdoor stairs.

Keyless entry to heated storage room ideal for skis/boards, bikes, and other toys.

Recommended for couples, families (children >12 years), and friends looking for a quiet escape.

You will have access to the Main House + garage storage. There is a separate suite onsite.
