Well equipped and peaceful home. Great location.

Plenty of space for larger groups. Extra units a bonus. Close to the cove beach. Even in bad weather can’t beat the view. Huge amount of green space for kids and pup to run around.Would happily stay again.

Spectacular hilltop views

We had a great time staying at the property, the view of bream head is spectacular and everything in the house was well thought out and well looked after. Felt privileged to stay in what was obviously a loving home of the owners and would not hesitate to recommend it to others who are looking for a getaway with the family.

The view!

We’ve been staying in different holiday homes every summer for years, and this place has been our favourite. The ocean view is magnificent, plus it’s so peaceful, and so close to Waipu village and the beach. Since ut is the owner’s house it is also well setup with aircon, dishwasher etc. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Note the steep gravel driveway though, glad we brought our 4wd.

Lovely family holiday

Beautiful location with stunning views. Short drive to best boogie-boarding beach ever. The house, garage unit and sleepout makes this an ideal venue for a family gathering. We were a group of 10 (3 generations) and it was the perfect size for us.

Weekend away

The view from the property is amazing. Very clean and has all that you need for a large group. We didn't realise the sleepout had no power, which meant we were short on beds inside the house. Additional garage sleepout was fantastic. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to Cyclone, lost power and water. Ian was very understanding. Lovely place to stay for family.

Enjoyable Easter weekend with Family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waipu Cove. The house provided great amenities, lots of space, unbeatable views and serenity. Is situated in a very ideal location to access all nearby beaches, cafe, food etc. The house was well insulated and warm. It felt like a home away from home. Amazing get away!

Waipu Cove Stay

This was a beautiful home with breathtaking views of the sea and Whangarei Heads. We had an amazing stay and one of the best family Christmas’s in many years.
