A Quick Get-away from Maine

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The pool, which we had heated, was just what we wanted for a daily swim. We used the bikes for a ride around the neighborhood and found burrowing owls at the end of the street - very exciting as we had been driving around trying to find some! They put welcome goodies in the fridge and on the counter for us which was really nice and welcoming. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Christmas Crew

This house was the perfect setting for our family over the Christmas holiday. The house waswell appointed and in a great location for us and beautifully decorated! The house lends itselfto family gatherings with the open concept plenty of furniture and then you can open the front doors to include the patio area as well. Lawn and landscaping were well kept. The house is located just 1/2 a mile from a Publix, a nail salon, two restaurants and a Walgreens. You can walk or ride on the provided bikes. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. There is a canal and paths within walking distance that you can fish from. There were plenty of pillows and towels. Besides all the ceiling fans the owner provided a stand fan which was very helpful to this hot flash momma! ha, if you know you know! The Cabana house was a nice surprise and would again work well for a family event or storage if needed. The owner left us with a variety of snacks and cold water to get us started. We had access to the washer and dryer so it was easy to keep up with wet towels and swim suits, you do need to bring your own laundry soap.The owner and property manager were VERY responsive to all of our questions and needs. The keyless entry made it easy for everyone to come and go as needed. Check out was easy and Seamless.

A few issues to address

Just a few issues to help you with future renters: 1. The lock mechanism on the bathroom door in the pool house should be changed out. It locked and we needed to remove the lock screws and re-install to open the door. 2. The bathtub in the main house bathroom needed to be unclogged. 3. The refrigerator has rust deposits that get into the ice. Hope these are helpful. Overall we really enjoyed the trip and having a pool house, and bike was a very nice option.

Cape Escape

The photos of this home do not do it justice! Beautiful location, neighborhood & decor. Sunrise over lake. 3 well thought-out large rooms, with bonus pool house pullout & extra shower. Close to Pine Island kayaking, ferry to North Captive, Margaritaville resort, flea market, full choice of restaurants and Sanibel beaches. Pool was clean and worth the extra amount to heat. Family already asking to return.extra shower

Overall good

Had a couple of problems however the home owners were very open and on top of each situation that came up. When we arrived (Sunday) we were told that the pool was messed up but someone would be by on Tuesday to repair it, after our girls got trapped in the room off to the side, the guy came out on Monday to fix the door to the room, as well as the pool. The wifi was not working the entire trip until the day before we left, however they did give us a heads up that it was a little slow and they were scheduled for an upgrade. Once the upgrade happened (the day before we left) the wifi was great. Cooling of the home was a little challenging we keep our personal home set low, and for some reason during the day it got a little warm inside the house, however the homeowner had someone come out and take a look at that and resolved it once we left. The home is beautiful and they are VERY accepting to help fix whatever problems you have. New to the rental part of things so there will always be trail and error but overall they done everything in their power to suit us and make the issues right.

Fantastic Getaway!

The house was very clean and in amazing condition. Host was extremely responsive to any questions that were asked and was very helpful with recommendations. All amenities were provided. Our group of friends were visiting town from Ohio for a pickleball tournament with an incredible view on the porch in the morning of the sunrise and relaxing in the pool relax after a long day on the courts. The local restaurants were incredible with easy access to Publix when something was needed from the store. This property was perfect for everyone without being on top of each other. Highly recommended for a small getaway. The owner provided some personal touches such as bottles of water, welcome snacks, and coffee, which was fantastic after a long day of travel. Thanks for the great long weekend!
