Great location

Beautiful cabin & location. The only issue were bugs by the fireplace, roaches, & wasps (all dead). It was about a 3/5 for cleanliness, but the owner was super accommodating & even came out to try & fix the live wasp issues. I only took off a star because they need a new cleaning person!

A great stay at a beautiful cabin

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin and the land around it were beautiful! We had plenty of space for our group of 14, 4 of them being young children. I gave a 4 star for cleanliness because one of the washers had a foul odor and was unusable, and the dishwasher had a smell as well. We used mostly paper goods so the dishwasher was no big deal. I also have an 4 star for location and neighborhood just because the roads in the neighborhood were pretty rough. Our guest contact was great at responding and even came out in the evening to fix the hot tub. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Perfect cabin getaway!

The cabin is wonderful. All four rooms have their own bathroom. I love the big long table in the dining where all the adults can sit and there was even room to put a little kids portable picnic Table right by us. It rained while we were there two of the days but the kids played on the porch that surrounds the house. The back porch leaked but we just moved the comfy chairs up by the house and we still sat outside. The kids love the huge fire pit. My daughter found a hiking path close by at the base of the road. It has a cabin beside us that you can kind of see but it feels pretty secluded and private. The beds are comfy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots and pans that you need except bring a cookie sheet if needed it didn’t have one of those. All in all we love it and was our second year and we are looking forward to renting again next year.

Great place for a reunion.

Property was great! Hot tub, corn hole, horse shoes, fire pit, and a big deck were great for our trip of 10. Beautiful location, soft beds, and quiet (you feel secluded). Only gripe was that they had slim cooking utensils/pots and the grill would only heat to about 350. We had a small issue with the AC drain leaking in the house. The property contact was extremely nice and took care of the issue in 45 minutes on a Friday evening. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Memories were made

We had the absolute best time here at this cabin. Had everything we needed for everyone. Beautiful home. Beautiful land. And so many memories made. We can’t wait to come back.

Relax in style

The place was well stocked and clean.. we had a blast with all of the things to do around there, lake ax throwing and escape rooms. We had a lot of fun and will be back for sure

Has everything we needed Carpenter ants in kitchen And no bags for corn hole exvept found one in woods Maybe fill the horseshoe game up with gravel it was full of water Other than that Any cabin Hochatown is the best

We went with a group of 4 couples.

We were looking for a quiet comfortable place to just relax. Chimney Rock Lodge suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean and had everything we needed We loved the fact that it was well off the road down a long paved driveway, it seemed isolated even though there were other cabins around. The hot tub was wonderful

Family weekend get away.

House and location was beautiful. Really enjoyed our family time at this property. We did have to re-wash all of the dishes and utensils that we used. They were dirty. Found roaches in two of the tubs. Dishwasher didnt work . Other than that, it was great!

Family Birthday Celebration

Kids loved the freedom to run and play outdoor games. Adults enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Cabin was beautiful and accommodating. We plan to return.

Quiet neighborhood close to the lake

We had a great time and enjoyed the property. I must say, every cabin I have EVER stayed in has a few similarities...such as a filthy worn out rusted grill. Thanks to the manager, it was replaced the first night. Dirty dishes...I have yet to stay in a place w clean dishes and utensils, no matter what I spend to stay.

Such a great place to stay!

Our whole family got away for a few days together. We had 6 adults and 8 kids and there was room to accommodate all of us comfortably. We cooked almost every meal at house cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent the mornings enjoying coffee on the back porch while the kids hung out in the hot tub. We watched a group of deer walk by in the yard and saw fire flies at night. We even enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores one night. It was a great time!

Plenty of room. Watched deer every morning while drinking coffee on the porch.

We had a great time. We were able to fit 12 people at the kitchen table for meals. Plenty of porch for relaxing drinking coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. Plenty of room for kids to run play horse shoes, corn hole and make smores.

Anniversary weekend

Loved it was secluded and surrounded by trees, patio was so enjoyable as completely covered all around the house. Had plenty of activities to stay busy. Beautiful home.

Lovely retreat

A beautiful and well appointed cabin. Very relaxing retreat. Plenty of room for our group of ten. Only complaint is that after reaching out to the listed property manager by text and email several times with a question prior to check in, I never received a reply.

Perfect Getaway!

We loved this cabin! We went with two other families and it was the perfect amount of space. It is very well maintained and everything was super comfortable. We made so many good memories here and especially loved sitting by the huge fire pit every night. We would highly recommend this place!!
