Onshore Retreat is set on the beautiful natural coastline of St Andrews Beach, only three minutes stroll to the water’s edge and surrounded by 6800sqm of natural bushland.
The space
Our Back Beach Studio 2 is luxuriously furnished and styled with a king sized bed, comfortable living area and a kitchenette to prepare light meals.

A romantic getaway for beach-lovers, listen to the waves and relax in the heated jacuzzi in the private undercover entertaining area, complete with BBQ.

Designed with your comfort in mind, the studio has been fitted with modern amenities and styled with vintage market pieces, creating a unique accommodation experience.

The Back Beach Studio is your own private space and sits adjacent to our other properties such as Back Beach Studio 2 and The Lodge. The space has been designed to ensure privacy and beautiful outlooks.
Only a 5 minute walk to the beach with the best of the Mornington Peninsula’s stunning offerings close by. We are located minutes from the popular St Andrews Brewery and the Peninsula Hot Springs, with wineries and golf courses a short drive away.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed the location - having lovely views out into the bushland; great facilities for sitting/eating outside in a space protected from weather; and a private jacuzzi. Walks along St. Andrews beach are close by, but if you want to swim you will need to drive 15-20 min. to one of the bay beaches.Everything we needed was provided, as we didn’t intent to cook meals.

Great Weekend Getaway

Much needed weekend escape, perfect location to use as a central base for the Hot Springs and day trips to Rosebud/Rye/Sorrento. Spa very secluded and private and close to apartment; I was worried it would be a hike from the accommodation but it’s very close. Access is up a steep hill, be mindful if you have mobility issues.

Relax and Rejuvenate in nature

Beautiful accommodation. We relaxed as soon as we opened the door. Surrounded by nature. The beach a stone’s throw away…well a nice walk to the beach. The jacuzzi was heated and ready to go. So relaxing. We laughed and enjoyed every minute.

We recently took over the property in May 2021 with the goal of reinstating the natural landscape and creating a place for our guests to relax and connect with nature.

Joel has a background in conservation land management and runs a vintage clothing business and Poppy has a background in producing, art direction and styling.
