Do not steal money from innocent customers!!
The view is amazing but unfortunately the owner and the manager failed to check if the water tank was filled over a long Easter holiday. We arrived 330pm ish(29Mar24) then had dinner then I was taking a shower at 10pm but water was weak so I thought it was temporary then went to bed. I woke up at 2am to go to the toilet then flushed( working) then tried to wash my hands but the water was completely out.
Next morning, contacted the manager 650am regarding the issue. Herself and the owner who was staying in the next door told me to give it an hour to be filled up so we patiently waited for 5 hours until 12pm but it never happened. They don't know when it's going to be filled up but just kept saying it will be filled up.
It was already a waste of our time and ruined our family holiday and there was no guarantee when it's going to be filled up so we decided to leave this property. We tried to find a new one to stay in that area and somewhere along the way like Ruakaka , Waipu and Mangawhai but no success. Also, we made sure with the owner that we can get a full 3 nights refund due to the water tank issue then left. However, I have received only 2 nights worth so I contacted the owner again and she said she will sort it out but we haven't received it yet. I really do not know whether it's Bookabach or the owner tried to not to lose their money but it is okay to steal money from innocent customers. It is really not nice to deal with these people. still waiting for my money back.
