The Ocean Rogue Inn is an absolute gem that sits on the edge of the sandy beach beach just seconds away from the ocean. There is a wonderful community area that offers ample seating around a fire-pit, a sandy volleyball court, and epic views of Twin Rocks Arch sitting just off the shore in the Pacific Ocean.

Every unit at the Ocean Rogue Inn has been remodeled and updated to near perfection. Every bit of décor and furnishing is brand new and was curated to create that perfect blend of style and comfort for your stay. Unit seven offers an open living, dining and kitchen concept along with two spacious bedrooms, one of which has both a king and queen bed, while the other has two twin beds making it perfect for small families travelling together. There is a single full bath.

As nice as the inside is, you will want to spend every moment you can experiencing the breathtaking beauty that is moments away.
The Ocean Rogue is barely one mile from the heart of downtown Rockaway Beach making it incredibly convenient for any groceries, shopping, or entertainment you may be looking for. We know you'll love every moment at this spectacular property. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $50 pet fee per pet with a maximum of 3 pets. Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

EAR PLUGS: ** Please be aware that you may hear noises from other units at times. We have provided ear plugs for all guests to ensure you have a quiet and relaxing sleep. **

The location is great. It’s just off the beach and has amazing views. But the apartment was a little worn, the floor was taped up where it had buckled. There wasn’t a dishwasher and the “clean” dishes in the kitchen looked dirty. Some even had dried food on them. There was no iron that we could find. We were only there for one night so it worked fine for us but I wouldn’t recommend staying there for an extended period of time.

It was clean and cozy when we arrived. It had everything we needed plus TV's with Netflix access, games to play, a volleyball court and firepit in the back and a walkway to the beach. The beds were firm but it helped with my back, so a big plus! Windows on every side of the house so we can get a nice cross-breeze of that ocean air! Weve been coming to Rockaway Beach for 5 years now and this is THE BEST rental we have stayed at.

Beach trip

Short path straight to the beautiful sandy beach. Bbq and volleyball not kept up to use. Nice rooms and comfortable beds with a great view from our upstairs unit

Just what we needed

Simple, quality, comfy beds and a gorgeous view with a short walk to the beach. The space gave us just what we needed without all of the extra things that make it cluttered. We did have trash and dust under the bed but everything else was clean. While we had great communication with customer service via text, no one ever did come clean under the beds like they said they would.

Nice enough for an overnight stay

The property is nice and clean and looks to have been fairly recently renovated. The view from our unit was fantastic, the accommodations were clean and in good working order although water pressure was a bit lacking. There were plenty of beds to sleep on and all of us thought the beds were comfortable. We had a few bugs in the unit and I relocated the obviously lost ones who wandered in from outside, but there wasn't much that could be done about the tiny ants that were in various rooms. The walls are a bit thin, or the cleaning crew is loud, I'm not sure which, I think perhaps the latter. They were working on other units well after the check in time so that detracted from the experience a bit. Also, I think it would have been cool to be able to check in a couple hours early so we could enjoy some of the local attractions, but at $60 for early check-in it wasn't worth it. Overall it was fine, but I'll probably choose someplace else less communal for my next trip to Rockaway.

Pros and Cons

Pros: very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, great view of the twin rocks, close to the beach. Friendly. Cons: Their wasn't a broom or vacuum to clean up the sand, not a good unit to have children. No Washer/dryer. The kitchen had the most basic things but was able to get by. The hood fan over the stove sounded like an airplane taking off and the microwave sparked.

Girls getaway

The property is adorable and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. There was food underneath the couch (both animal and human food), children’s fingerprints all over the TVs, one of the beds had a big wad of hair in it when we pulled back the comforter, I had something roll under the bed- it has been a long time since cleaners swept under the beds, and the screen on the window near the dining table is broken so we weren’t able to enjoy the ocean at night (without letting bugs in).

Great

Very clean and updated. Nice little sand trail out to the beach. We loved the fire pit. Highly recommend the Old Growth Cedar nature trail up the road.
