Positioned perfectly between two of New Plymouth's prime swimming beaches Fitzroy and east end and by the gateway to the award winning scenic coastal walkway all only a two-minute stroll away. Then only a ten-minute walk along the waterfront to the center of the cbd where you can experience arts, culture and shopping.

Spend your days swimming and surfing. Access the property by it's own side entrance, you will be welcomed to a light and bright open place space that oozes charm and comfort. Enjoy a small kitchenette with a shower area, unlimited wifi and an outdoor area for you to relax and listen to the waves rolling in.

Master bedroom area has a King size bed.

For those on a shoestring budget who want to be in a 'tourist hot spot' while still having a relaxing stay this is the perfect studio for you.
There is a Spa pool at the property to relax and unwind in.

Take a stroll to the federal store for an amazing cooked breakfast and a great coffee or the Fitzroy beach kiosk another great spot to enjoy. Wander the Fitzroy village boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. You won't need a car here as many of the major attractions are close by. On street parking only.

Please note the cleaning fee: all linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the ministry of health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.

The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.

Eclectic Fitzroy staycation

Close to walking and cycling track, right next to the sea which was a bonus. Beautiful collection of art.

Great spot near the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Strandon. Very comfortable and stylishly eclectic. Communication with hosts was excellent as they were just upstairs. Parking was off street but just out front and convenient. Proximity to the Coastal Path was a bonus.

Getaway

It was a great living space. Quiet and great location, close to East End Beach. The toilet and shower are almost part of the kitchen, which was fine for us but some people might not like it. The internet access was patchy meaning we could not connect to a meeting. Overall, a great place to chill and get to the beach and walkway
