VÀlkommen till Alexander Mckee House! Ett underbart exempel pÄ tidig kanadensisk arkitektur byggd 1835. En gÄng kÀnd för att vara skolmÀstarens hus och har presenterats i mÄnga Niagara-böcker. UtmÀrkt lÀge pÄ en av de bÀsta pittoreska gatorna i den historiska gamla stan Niagara-On-The-Lake. Parkera din bil och gÄ till allt. Steg till huvudgatan och Gamla stan dÀr du hittar exklusiva butiker, fina restauranger och Shaw Festival Theatre. Queens Royal Park och Lake Ontario ett kvarter bort. King Street Gallery, Fort George och Nordamerika Àldsta golfbana strax nerför gatan. Internationellt hyllade vingÄrdar bara nÄgra minuter bort. It is a perfect location and there’s something really calming and relaxing about the property despite being so close to everything. For such an old house it’s very well maintained and comfortable.

Wonderful historic home literally a step or two away from the main downtown of NOTL and Lake Ontario, Queens Beach Park. House was historic but had the creature comforts of home. Sindy and Drew were wonderful hosts. We will stay here again, unless you all who read this book it up, which you should!

Location location location!

Sindy’s place was the perfect location to all the shops, parks, restaurants and water. We never had to use the car at all! The Alexander McKee house is a beautiful historical home that took us back in time. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and furnishings and a gorgeous porch and patio surrounded by lush plants and flowers. We can’t say enough good things about Sindy’s place and will definitely be back next year!

Perfect location, charming and cozy!

This was the perfect romantic destination for our first anniversary! The cozy little house was a block from the Main Street, parks, and the waterfront.

Niagara on the lake

This charming, cozy house is in the perfect location to walk to theaters and restaurants in downtown. Sindy was a wonderful host, very attentive and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Location

The house has a wonderful location in Niagara on the Lake. You are walking distance to everything you need. The house has a lovely historic feel and quiet little outside area to enjoy for meals or just relaxing on the porch.

Excellent location and home!

We had a fabulous stay. The property is in an incredible location and was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable. The front porch was nice to sit on in the morning and afternoon. We were able to walk downtown at night for dinner or ice cream. We had an incredible meal at Treadwell which I highly recommend!

Lovely little spot!

Our cottage was right around the corner from the historic downtown district. Bakeries too numerous to try! Grocery store for the essentials. And the walk down to the lake was perfect for a nice stroll. Thanks!

Stay in Niagara-On-The-Lake

The house was in great location. It was close enough to the shopping district and the theaters, but far enough away to be private. The house was cozy and comfy. It is fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is on the first floor while the bedrooms are on the second floor which could be a concern for some people. We had a great time and really enjoyed the vacation house!

Beautiful home within walking distance to everything

We so enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, historic home. Everything you need for an easy stay is provided. We enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful porch. We loved walking down to the beach park. We walked to wonderful dinners in town each night and enjoyed the shops as well. The flowers all over town are gorgeous! We did take a trip over to the Botanical Gardens which was fabulous!

Charming Historic House

Location location was the most fluid part of our stay! Walk to downtown minutes away, walk to lake minutes away. Wonderful home, like stepping back through time. Everything was as shown, the bed was very comfortable. Fantastic - Amazing

Location is outstanding, charming warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. Characteristics of home from 1835 tasteful furnishings but updated without disturbing character. I really enjoyed the way the period lights were electrified! Well equipped! No better place to stay -- we left being relaxed and refreshed! We will be back!

Spotless and great location

This was an excellent location and the place was super clean. Sindy was friendly and responsive to all our inquiries. While we did not take advantage of it, there’s a lovely porch with rocking chairs and a shaded table and chairs out back. Please note that the bedrooms are up a steep set of stairs so one must be able-bodied and the bathroom is downstairs. Also note that tall guests need to duck when going from the laundry room entrance into the rest of the house.

Loved! Loved! Loved!

Girls getaway ... excellent location! We walked to the golf course for lunch and then visited the shops up and down Queen Street. The property was spotless. While I would describe it as "quaint", it had every ammenity you could want ... microwave, dishwasher, hair dryer, etc. Enjoyed our morning tea on the front porch with delicious scones and pastries purchased in town. There was plenty of hot water for four showers in the morning! Niagara Falls was a short drive away (25 minutes). Spent the afternoon there and enjoyed going through "The Tunnel" (a newer attraction at the Falls). Stopped at Two Sisters Winery (idyllic spot) on the way back to NOTL. We all had a truly wonderful time and can't wait to go back! ❀

Historic Charm

The Alexander Mckee House is in perfect condition and location. Hardwood plank floors, candle sconces, farm style wood furniture, a walk back in time. The entire neighborhood and town takes pride in their history and it shows. The house is located two blocks from everything you must see, from the Lake, to mainstreet clocktower, boutique shops, and pubs. You can take a horse drawn carriage ride around town. Town looks magical at night, candle lite still like centuries ago. Its peaceful, not hurried, serene and beautiful. The location was a quick drive to Niagra Falls. Im so glad we didn't stay near the falls that area was full of skyscrappers and carnival looking buisnesses, all too touristy, right next to a majestic beautiful water fall it doesn't fit.

Our passion for restoring old houses, led us to move to this beautiful town, filled with history and historic homes. One of the attractions for us was the wonderful bicycle paths along the Niagara River and excellent tasting wineries. Niagara-On-The-Lake voted prettiest town in Ontario.

This historic 1835 house is situated on the prettiest and most desirable streets in old town. The recently restored porch is a great spot for having an evening glass of wine and simply relaxing. Queen street is literally steps away, where you will find unique shops, fine dining, pubs, coffee shops and Shaw Festival theater. There are over 70 wineries to visit, with wine tasting bars . Whirlpool Jets boat ride is an easy walkable distance. Zoom Bicycle rentals, kayak and paddle rentals also available. Take a horse and buggy tour of our historic town. Niagara Falls is a short 20 minute drive away. There are several attractions and activities including Hornblower Niagara Cruise, Journey behind the falls, Butterfly Conservatory and Whirlpool Aero Car.
