Great place to stay!

Beautiful apartment - clean and has everything you need to unwind after a long day of hiking! We are a family of 5, with 3 kids 5 and under and the Overlook was a perfect place to call home while in the area. Thanks for hosting us!

Excellent stay

We really loved this Burdett experience —clean, clutter-free, comfortable, spacious, & had all the necessities. Plus a convenient location. Only sad part was not being able to see the falls from the deck.

Our stay was wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay and may look to book again next year.

The unit was very clear, location was ideal a few minutes from downtown Watkins Glen but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. It had everything we needed for our race weekend. My family loved the coffee shop out front, and being able to walk to the Hungry Bird for lunch was very convenient.

2nd stay as good as the 1st!

Great location, very clean, plenty of amenities ... and the new coffee shop downstairs is a great add! Hope they stay! Owners friendly and easy to communicate with.

What a beautiful and comfy location!

We loved the location of this little apartment with the great coffee bar downstairs. Everything about the place felt new and fresh and clean. The owner was very responsive to any queries we had and she left an amazing binder of information.

Great Time In Burdett

We had a wonderful time at the Overlock. The space was spotless and thoughtfully laid out. Everything was great including conversation with our host. She was responsive and fun! Downstairs is a little coffee place and it was also delightful. 10/10 will return.

Attention to Detail

Immaculately kept with an eye for all the little details that make the stay special. Restaurant next door and cute little market across the street. Love the upstairs patio and waterfalls in back.

Close to everything

The apartment has plenty of room and has everything a renter would need to be comfortable. A full-size fridge is provided which is perfect for those who plan on cooking some meals at home. The deck is beautiful and the sound of the water falls provides a nice backdrop when sitting out and enjoying the scenery. I would definitely rent this space again when in the area.

Watkins Glen area stay

Brittany’s property was very newly renovated. It’s was immaculate both inside and out. Very quiet and safe neighborhood My husband and I were lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the falls running. The property did not have central air but the portable air conditioners did a great job cooling all the rooms down Since I am a real coffee snob, I appreciated the French press in the kitchen

Very Loud And Uncomfortable

The portable air conditioner units were so loud that it was difficult to hear each other when talking. It was also difficult to hear the televisions. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable. Because of 2 reasons, we did NOT stay our last night.

Wonderful property

This is a great place and the owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The property was super cute with a waterfall in the backyard. It snowed while we were there and the owners came early to clean the deck, path, and parking area. The decor of the space is very stylish and clean. All the appliances are new and work great. What a great surprise to be given wine and coffee during our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the finger lakes region this is it. Perfect location to start from to go to other locations within the area. A 30 to 45 minute driver will get you to the other lakes and towns. Just 5 minutes to Watkins Glen. Unfortunately we had to leave 2 days early because of a family emergency. The owners were completely understanding. WE LOVE THIS PLACE and will be back.

A wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. It’s a newly renovated cozy apartment with virtually all brand new appliances. All rooms are super clean and well-stocked. Everything worked as expected. The owner was very friendly and responsive. Will definitely come again!

Property was easy to rent owner stayed in touch. Unit exceeded expectations. You can tell a lot of thought went into the renovation. Totally enjoyed the fire pit with the morning coffee. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This property is run and maintained locally by myself and my husband, Adam. We both grew up in the area and could not be happier to call this our home. We travel quite a bit ourselves and use our experience to make our property the best for our guests. Our favorite place to be is at our home on Seneca Lake. In our spare time we love to do projects at our home and properties and walk our dog, Millie on some of the beautiful trails our area.
