Below you will find details about our 3 bed/ 2.5 bath, The BayView House, located across from Mission Bay in Mission Beach.

The Bayview House is perfect if you're wanting a centrally located place for your friends or family to relax with 180 degree views of Mission Bay. In addition to the daily beautiful sunsets and ocean breeze you'll enjoy while at the house, you're only minutes away from the amazing art, culture, restaurants, dining, beach and family-friendly activities San Diego has to offer. This home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

This home has an incredible view of the water from almost every window. The entire downstairs is catered for cozy from the sunroom to the spacious living room with a massage chair and couches, and a full kitchen with bar and table seating. The upstairs bedrooms offer three different styles and setups for sleeping accommodations.

The master bedroom with a king bed has an incredible view of Mission Bay. The room opens to a balcony perfect for a morning cup of joe! Within the master bedroom is an open suite bathroom with separate tub, separate toilet, separate vanity and separate walk-in shower. Please note: there is a step up and then into the tub. There are curtains for privacy to the west and the north. A TV with cable is available across from the bed. There is no closet or dresser in the master bedroom. Plenty of cabinet and shelves are available outside the bedroom.

The first guest bedroom has a queen size bed. Adjacent is a large, mirrored closet.

The second guest bedroom has a bunk bed with twin and full size beds. This room is bright and engaging with space for kids play and education. The room contains a large, mirrored closet and dresser for storage, along with a desk and shelving space.

The separate guest full bath is shared by guests and has a shower/tub combo.

Beach accessories are located in the outside alleyway next to the stackable washer and dryer.

Guest will have the entire house to themselves. Free Wifi, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs and plenty of space for the whole family and friends to come together!
There is one parking space behind the home in the alley or on McGraw Street.

**NEWLY ADDED! This home comes with CENTRAL A/C and HEAT! Choose either cool for A/C or warm for heat. You can NOT use one on warm while the other is set for air conditioning; it will cancel the system out.

This is a two-story house, and has two sets of stairs to come up from where you park on the street.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. Please contact us with any questions.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego.

Please note our policies:

Holiday 2025 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 20-January 3). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2025 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.

Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Pet Policy: This property is pet-friendly. Please note: a pet fee of $200 plus tax for the first pet, and $150 plus tax for second pet. Please send breed and pet description(s) for approval on your pet's stay.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

I am going to review the home and the agency in one. I find it harder to find info on the actual property you are staying at. (Well, VRBO sent my review back to del. address) If you are looking for the best location, this seems to be in the middle of everything. Anytime we were going somewhere, it seemed to be close. It is right off Interstate 5 so you didn't have much drive once you exited. The actual house was just average. c- I would say. It could be a B with just a tiny bit of things added. There are 2 bathrooms that have showers. Both upstairs. One bathroom has a place for a hand towel right about the sink. Otherwise, there is not a single place to put a towel. No Where. You have to get a hanger and hang up in the closet. The maintenance guy had to come by and I did mention it to him and he mentioned that he goes in other units that have tons of towel bars and they still use the floor?? Who puts their towel on the floor, yall are gross!! I just think that should be standard in every unit. So, I guess this is also a negative towards Nancy. If you are going to have an occupancy of 6, have a way to hang up six towels. There should be set standards. Towel Bars should be on that list. In the master bedroom, there is not a place to put an article of clothing. NO chest of drawers, no closet no nothing. You can live out of a suitcase that week. Again, I think a closet or chest of drawers should be standard in each bedroom. The shower in

Bayview house stay

Overall, House was great - AC works great, all beds are super comfy. Only a few quirks to point out: first, the master bedroom is at the front of the house which faces and overlooks the I-5. The commuter train also runs right alongside the highway. At times the traffic and train sounds were pretty loud and woke us up at night. Second, the master bathroom is part of the bedroom, not a separate room. So the toilet is only separated from the bed by a curtain. The tub is right in the bedroom along the wall. So no bathroom privacy in other words….as long as you are ok with those two things, the house was good. Our teenagers in the other two bedrooms had no issues and were super happy with the stay here! The location is convenient but nothing really is in walking distance because of the large highway right in front. But only a 5 minute drive from pacific beach area….

Ok But Could Use a Few Things

Overall it was a good fit for our family. Good size living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom is definitely weird with the toilet being directly across from the bed (and no doors or walls). My biggest issue was the lack of anywhere to put our clothing in the master bedroom. We were there for 10 nights, and had to live out of our suitcase, on the floor. A little 3 drawer dresser below the TV would add so much. Also lamps on the bedside tables (invest in ones with usb charging ports), would be a huge improvement. I like to read before I fall asleep and had to have the main overhead lights on to do this, then get up and go turn them off. Not the end of the world, but not convenient either. Also, consider shampooing the carpet, it's pretty nasty.
