People say Halcyon has the best views on Eleuthera
 You be the judge. Peaceful, calming, extremely private and unbelievably beautiful are words often used to describe Halcyon.

This 3-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath house is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. Gorgeous gardens surround the house and pool. Halcyon looks out over Savannah Sound with sweeping views. Sunrise and sunset are both enjoyed at Halcyon! Best stargazing ever.

Walk across the backyard and down a few steps to our private sandy beach with calm, perfectly clear water. This protected beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

A three-minute walk takes you to Windermere Island's famous 3-mile-long pink sand beach, usually deserted.

A two-minute drive takes you to West Beach on Savannah Sound, which has a pavilion, rest rooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, and other facilities.

Halcyon comes with membership in the Windermere Club with a pool, tennis, pickle ball and a gym. In season, the Club also offers fine dining and a bar (typically November through June).

Enter Halcyon house into the large, open foyer. You are greeted by views of the beautiful blue waters of the Sound and the Atlantic. Halcyon has a newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso and Keurig machines (bring your own pods), ice maker, and beverage fridge.

The great room features an ocean-view dining table that seats 6, and a large ocean-view living area with seating for 10. The great room an expansive patio, overlooking the sound, that runs the full length of the house. It is furnished for lounging and dining.

The two first-floor bedrooms have king beds, breathtaking ocean views, and full en-suite baths. Each bedroom has a private patio facing the water.

Go Upstairs to the master king bedroom to see the most incredible view of all! Step out onto the deck and you feel you are on top of the world. Look for sea turtles, big rays and more sea life, swimming in the sound! The master bedroom also has an en suite full bath.

Halcyon provides housekeeping on Wednesdays & Saturdays. Amenities include super-fast Starlink internet, AC throughout, back-up generator, washer/dryer, beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, and a gas grill for your convenience.

Amazing home

I first want to say I never wanted to leave, Eleuthera is an amazing island and something very special. If you want a secluded house with a private beach to enjoy the views of the ocean, this is the place. The blue water views when you walk in are amazing and the property offers so much! The house is beautiful plenty of room for a family, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, best past is an amazing ice maker we used excessively! There are three different types of coffee makers, plenty of pots and pans, spices! The beds are very comfy, and the AC keeps each room cool! It’s great to have the pool right out back, there were even rafts and blow ups for the kids! There are steps down to the private beach we didn’t see anyone the whole trip! It’s very shallow and clear, great for some easy snow, the best part was the numerous sea turtles everywhere!! We saw other sea life, sting rays, crabs, fish, even tiny sharks! Nish was a wonderful perk of the house, she was so attentive and kind, she cleans twice a week and even brought us fresh mangos from her yard!! She helped us with all of our questions and gave us great recommendations on things to do, she is fabulous!! Everyone on the island is so friendly and welcoming, we will be back!!

An incredible stay at Halcyon!!

We spent two weeks renting this slice of heaven on earth. Let’s start with Eleuthera, it’s a beautiful island, with some of the most incredible (and also quiet) beaches. We are so happy we chose to stay here. This property is located on Windermere Island (which is a private and gated community). We felt very safe during our whole stay. The house itself is incredible. From the time you pull into the driveway you can already see the unbelievably blue waters. It’s well decorated, clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable! Everything you could possibly need is at the house. The view from the back porch is incredible and with so many seating options, you can get a view from every angle. The pool is fantastic, well maintained and a great temperature. Steps to the private beach take you to another world entirely. The air conditioning units are very good. They cool down large spaces very quickly. The internet connection is fantastic. We had good connection in every room, even a great connection down at the pool. The location is great, it’s not a long drive to Rock Sound or Governors Harbor (both great spots to see more of Eleuthera). The staff that maintain the house are amazing. Shoutout to Nish who is so kind, so welcoming and so helpful. She made us feel right at home. She keeps the house spotless and thoughtfully takes care of guests. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our stay, we’re only sad it’s over!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were searching for a extremely private beach house with a pool and we found it. This place is amazing. The interior design is dated, but it still works very well. We did not have internet the entire time that we were there, but we didn't need it. Windermere Island is gated and very secure. Nothing bad about this trip.
