About the home
“Cornwall Beach House” is a delightful single-storey family home in Cowes just 100m from the sand. The Cowes boat ramp is just around the corner, and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés are a walk away. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The kitchen has a walk in pantry and the open plan dining/living room (with 75 inch smart TV) provides a central area to enjoy. The Master bedroom has a WIR and en suite (with shower and toilet) while the other three bedrooms (each with BIR) share access to the main bathroom (with bath and shower) and a separate toilet. There is also a second living room (with 75 inch smart TV) and laundry.
Outdoor Areas
The deck to the side of the home has table and seating for 2 people, plus there is another table and chairs for 6 people on the rear patio. The double garage is locked and not accessible to guests. There is space for one vehicle on the driveway on the property plus free parking on the street. Additional parking (for cars or boats) is possible in the back yard via a side gate on Cornwall Avenue.
Please note there are security cameras at the home facing external areas only.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are four wall mounted split-system reverse cycle air-conditioning units in the home; one each in the two living areas, as well as the Master bedroom and Bedroom two.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk
The front living room also has a sofa bed/divan that can accommodate up to 2 adults or children.
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
