Another great stay in boydton. Superb location and property. It has everything. Quiet, safe location with plenty of room for parking. This is our go-to lodging option when we come to Kerr. We’ll be back.

Adorable

The house was cute, had pretty much anything you needed, and was the perfect size. We have a family, so the kids loved the extra beds in the same bedroom, and we could have the main room. We sat on the porch to drink coffee and just enjoyed the peaceful setting. While in town, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!!

Our experience was very nice. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Could have been a little cooler outside. We picked the 97 degree weather 😱. But great accommodations.

Coffee ON PORCH

That’s right every morning coffee/tea on front porch. Very peaceful , the traffic was sporadic which was NOT an issue. Short drive to Kerr Lake and shorter drive to Dollar General. There’s a nee Mexican restaurant that was very good and service was fast . It opened July 2025 and our party of ten had no complaints. Hope you get a chance to see the sunset and sunrise the next day. The kitchen is fully equipped with drip coffee machine, mixers,place settings, dishes,toaster and dishwasher. YOU ARE GOOD TO GO …… have a great time.

I have stayed at this location over 3 to 4 times and every time it’s better and better the host is amazing. The cleaning crew is great just good people with great integrity. I would advise anyone looking for a place in this area to give this a try.

I stayed here for a fishing tournament. It has a carport that was nice for parking a boat under. Nice country style home and a short drive to the lake.

It's a great little house in a wonderful location for us because we like to fish in the Rudds Creek

Our stay was very good. It is located near highway 58 and easy to find. In the beginning, it was a little confusing with the lighting inside. It would have been helpful if the Welcome notebook with instructions would have been on the kitchen table. It was a comfortable place for us. It was nice to have the the space needed to get our boat in and out easily and the outside outlet close to the driveway.

Another great stay in the Boydton house. This place has been the best find for lodging in the area. While we love the cabins at OSP, this place gives us more room and more amenities (esp in the kitchen).

Gaston fishing trip

Another great stay at Hidden Meadows. This is the perfect place if you're in the area for fishing, site-seeing, or just checking out the area. Roomy, nicely appointed, and fully stocked. Lots of parking, to include for boats and trucks. We'll be back.

Fishing trip

This was out 4th stay at this property. It's become our #1 choice when we're fishing in the area. This trip we were on Gaston. It was only a 30-minute drive to the ramp so we had an easy commute to/from the lake. This house is perfect. Wonderfully appointed and equipped, superb kitchen, tons of parking for trucks and boats.

Short stay close to family

This is our second stay here. Its a good location close to family in the area, which is why we came. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is adequately supplied. Wifi is ok. No cable but smart tv access to your apps. The road in front of the house is busy and loud day and night. We will probably be back when we visit family the next time.

Kerr Lake fishing trip and visit with relatives.

Loved the beautiful home. Truly enjoyed the big front porch. Home was very clean and very well stocked except kitchen didn't have a can opener. Did some cooking but had to open a can with a punch type bottle opener. Would also suggest a Keurig coffee maker. We brought pods but couldn't use them. Overall the place was lovely. Would stay here again. Also my husband brought his boat. The place had a nice carport, but after a day of fishing he needed to charge his batteries. He suggested a receptacle for the carport.

Close to Lake getaway

This house was clean and set up well for our stay. It was close to the Lake and downtown Clarksville (@12 miles). They supplied linens, towels, well stocked kitchen, paper products (toilet paper, papertowels) to last a day or so. There is a large front porch with swing, rocking chairs and several chairs that provides a great view of the sunrise over the open fields on the other side of the road. There is a covered area that can be used to store your boat out of the weather or to hold a sheltered gathering out of the sun with the provided propane grill and picnic table. There are several places to launch your boat a short drive from the house. There are tvs in each bedroom and the greatroom. There is no cable/satellite and you must use your own subsciptions (Netflix,Prime,Hulu) or the limited selections provide by the tv. The internet was more than adequate for the needs of 4 adults. The greatroom is spacious and comfortable. The people in kitchen and at the large island can be a part of whatever is going on in the entire room. The only drawback is the house sits just off of a main road with constant large truck traffic. It not only spoils the beautiful view of the open field but there is constant noice day and night. The close proximity to a major road would cause concern for young kids playing in the front yard. However, there is a large back yard. Do not expect any response to questions from the rental management company (Evolve). They do not respond to questions until after you pay for the rental and even then it is slow. Their response is is to direct you to a "guest service" agent and provide the contact info. The guest service agent does respond quickly to questions. We did not have any issues that required their help during our stay. We visit the Clarksville area 3 to 4 times a year and will stay again if available.
