Good for family fun

Property was great. It’s close to where the Llano meets the lake so the water level isn’t too low but there are sandbars so you can put chairs in the water. The detached game room is perfect for having fun at night without waking the sleeping babies.

Summer Lake Vacation

Very nice stay. Perfect for my family. The river here is relatively shallow and great for playing in the water. Fishing was not bad either.

Perfect family gathering

Pictures do not do justice for this house. Great location, short walk to a private beach area. It is perfect for the little ones for play in the water, not too deep, not to shallow. Of the houses we've stayed at, so far this one is definitely a favorite. Will absolutely be looking to staying at this house again

Relaxing Girls trip

Beautiful Place Perfect for Kids!

We loved our stay here. The view was beautiful and that lake was perfect for kids. It was shallow with an island nearby they could almost walk to. The kids loved the game room. The owners obviously put a lot of consideration into family needs. Owners were very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We hardly left the house!

Great end of summer stay.

Great stay. House was perfect set up for our family. We are very familiar with this part of the lake so it was perfect for us as we only were using jet skis. Back yard is beautiful and views/sunsets are amazing. Kitchen was stocked and TV access to streaming was nice and we watched multiple movies. Kids loved game room/ping pong table. Will be renting again next summer for sure.

Very Nice House and Location

We stayed at the house to catch the eclipse and there were five of us. Between the three bedrooms and the large living area, there was plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the location, especially being right next to the river. The comfort of the beds will be based on personal preference as I prefer a spring mattress and I think the bed in the master bedroom felt more like memory foam. There were a lot of sitting areas both inside and out and it was very easy to find your own favorite spot. Overall, I would say that the house and especially the location were great. Wish we lived closer so we could stay there again!

Great stay

The house was nice and worked well for our family. The view out back was awesome. We really enjoyed the beach area! It was great for our younger kiddos and we spent a lot of time in the water. The water was calm and not too deep. Also nice that there weren’t a ton of boats up that far so we could enjoy the lake and kayaks. It’s pretty much at the upstream end of where boats can go so not much traffic at all but you can get to it in a boat if you wanted. Great spot for sure!

Wonderful Weekend!

We loved this house so much. It was the perfect fit for my family and friends. How they have it decorated and everything made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked into in. We’re already planning on staying again. The property owners were so kind. The pictures don’t do justice to this amazing place. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Awesome location on the Llano River

This is our 3rd stay at this rental and we will be back! The only reason I did not give a 5 star for cleanliness is because the porch, which is our favorite place to hang out, had cobwebs and lots of dead leaves. Also, the porch fans stopped working.

Great Family House

The house was VERY clean and tidy! AC worked great, beds were comfy, showers worked well, kitchen stocked well! Our favorite parts were the back porch and the easy access to the water! Kids loved the game room and the water! Very nice neighbors were quiet and friendly. We had a few questions for the host who responded very promptly to texts. The water was great because it was shallow enough for the kids right off the beach area, but got deep enough farther out to fish, kayak or for a boat/jet ski.

May visit to lake lbj

Great location on the lake because it is only about 4 feet deep so easy to swim in and there is a great sandbar that you can swim to. The water depth on the sand bar is only about a foot so you can put your chair out to sit in the water. Not much fast boat traffic so the waves do not bother you. Great back yard and patio. Not a long walk to the sandy beach. The beds are comfortable and the two ovens are nice to have. The separate game room with the ping pong table is a must have for teens.

Did not Disappoint

We lacked for nothing. Home was spacious and perfect for a family with children of any age. We had all we needed and then some. Perfectly located on the water for playing in the water for children/adults as well as pulling up jet skis for later playtime. Beds were comfy and I especially loved the back porch and separate game room. We will be back!! Thankyou, to the owners who was extremely kind and helpful when we had questions.

This property is a GREAT place to stay especially if you have young children! The beach is perfect!

Was completely blown away by this property! The lake house was even better than expected! The layout is great and all of the rooms were spacious enough for our large group! The kitchen is VERY well stocked with everything you need and then some! But the BEST part about this house is the patio, yard and “lake beach” (as my grandson called it)! This property is located in a quiet neighbor and on a peaceful part of the river, so the kids were able to enjoy the kayaks and water without large waves. The owners are very quick to respond to emails and very helpful! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Great family weekend

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and just as the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable. My daughter is planning on buying the same mattress. "best sleep ever!" she said. The grand-kids loved the water and we enjoyed playing in it with them. The depth was great for adults to cool off and kiddos to be safe. The sunsets were great. We enjoyed making smores and gathering together near the water when the temperature cooled. Definitely planning our next stay as we hope to make this an annual getaway. You'll love it here!

Family 3 night Trip

Great view of the river. Older home with some remodeling done. House could have used some deep cleaning. Sofas smelled and dirty. Base boards needed cleaning. Air fryer and coffee pot were dirty. Had a hard time with the stove top knobs. They were a safety concern because they were not aligned with the temperature settings. We spent alot of time trying to cook and find the correct temperature. Could not get hot water from master bath, yet there was hot water from the master bathroom sink. I'm not a plumber but feel the slide valve in the shower facet is not working properly to allow hot water out.Entrance to house was not appealing. Mop, broom, and cleaning items were stored in plain view by front door.Also storage of pipes and building supplies stored between both building was an eye sore. Chairs on deck had alot of bird poop. top knbs

Incredible getaway

We took my in-laws for a short get-away and this house did not disappoint. Once we pulled in and entered that front door, we were in awe. The view was amazing, its absolutely serene. The house has a beach out front that is located on a quite part of the river/lake. The beach and lake were so much fun for adults and the kids. They have two kayaks as well and quite a few toys for the lake out front that we all had fun using. The kitchen is stocked we didn’t want for anything and we cooked every night we were there. The front porch is nice to relax on during the evenings and the game room has a ping pong table as well as board games for the whole family to enjoy. The house was clean and everything was as described when we arrived. We will definitely be back. Also the neighbors are very friendly and accommodating. This house couldn’t be a better spot to relax for the weekend or the whole week we enjoyed it!

Fun, family friendly home!

Although it was rainy, we had a great time with family. This is a great family home. They had kayaks, floats and beach furniture, but with the rain we did not get a chance to use them. However, we enjoyed ping pong and the board games. The game room will keep you busy when it is too rainy or too hot to hit the water. We brought our own jet ski and the welcome manual advises you to trailer your jet ski at night. We did and were glad we did! Storms came up quickly, with strong high winds. The home living area and kitchen are roomy enough to gather together. The covered porch is like an additional living space as well. Everything was in good working order and we were all very comfortable. Property is as advertised! Thank you for sharing your family home with us.

Wonderful!

This was our 3rd year spending time at the Sager lakehouse in late July and we’ve had 3 wonderful trips. The owners are thoughtful, communicative and kind. We love this house. From breakfast on the deck to s’mores on the fire, we want for nothing when we’re here. Our 5yr old loves the bunk beds, the kitchen has every item one could need, the kayaks are awesome, the living room is great for movies and the list goes on. From board games with our kiddo in the morning to late night ping pong matches when she’s fast asleep (it’s a separate dwelling so she can’t hear me celebrate all my victories yet I can hear her on the monitor. Win/win!), the game room kept us busy at all hours! We love that there’s a little private beach just for us, we’re a quick drive to groceries and all restaurants yet we feel so far away! We drove back to the lakehouse from town at about 10 miles an hour one evening and saw about 50 deer! It was a truly relaxing getaway that we so look forward to every year. The owners have thought of everything and we are so very grateful. We can’t wait to go back!
