Trähus vid vattnet med trägolv och inre träväggar. Stora bekvämligheter med bänkskivor i granit och rostfria apparater. Två master sviter; en på huvud och en på lägre nivå. Walk-out lägre nivå med utsikt över vattnet året runt och brygga april till september. Fullt utrustat kök med allt du behöver för att skapa fantastiska måltider. Utomhus matbord på täckt bakre veranda för bra måltider med varmt väder.

Privat enhet med minimal utsikt över omgivande hus. Hemmet är på 4. 5 tunnland och mycket privat. Lång körväg sätter hus utanför gatan plus nära slutet av cul de sac och minimal trafik. Mycket lugnt!

Peaceful

We had very good time. The house was amazing and comfortable for every age my grandson under a year had a great time because of the living room being so large for him to be able to walk around.

Absolutely perfect rental

This property, area and host are the perfect combination. The host had great communication with us. The town is charming and the views of the lake are breathtaking. The cabin could not be better. The cabin was immaculate and very well appointed. Our every need was met. This rental has a high rating and deserves it.

Wonderful two night stay in cozy cabin

The communication with owner was excellent and the cabin was exactly as shown online. The home is a short drive to all of our activities for the weekend. I highly recommend the cabin.

Doesn't get any better

Thank you John for letting us stay at your beautiful home. Everything from cleanliness, location, convenience, and had everything needed including a gracious host that promptly answers any and all messages. We had an outstanding time and hope it's for rent next year.

Amazing getaway!

This place is absolutely beautiful from the cabin to the lake. We spent most days floating in the water and boating. There is a very nice private dock and we were able to bring our boat which was great. Plenty of cookware and a grill for family dinners after being out on the water all day. The host was great to work with and always quick to respond to my questions. Would absolutely recommend!

A Private Paradise

The property was even better in person than in photos and the layout was fantastic. With master bedrooms on all floors, everyone got privacy when desired and the mid level great room connected to the kitchen was a wonderful gathering place. We had the very best week and all 5 of us had a perfect time! The Lake was warm and swims off the dock were taken late night and early mornings. We also rented pontoon boat and could stop home and dock right at the cabin. You won't be sorry!

Excellent home and owner

The owner was amazing. He’s incredibly responsive, quick, and helpful. The house is beautiful and well stocked. It was very nice having two masters as we were traveling with two families. The dock was so nice for our kids to swim off all day. The house is in a calm cove.

Lovely home - perfect for a family get together

With bedrooms and bathrooms on each level, it was perfect for three families. There is a well-stocked kitchen and using the snack bar area and large dining table, we enjoyed meals together.

Christmas Gathering

We planned a family vacation and stayed five nights at this lovely cabin. Well appointed, clean, convenient and comfortable. Nice features including a pool table and a hot tub. Close to a variety of local attractions. Highly recommended.

Perfect and quiet retreat

The cabin and the view were perfect. Even in late fall, with the lake levels down, it was gorgeous and so relaxing. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. All the modern amenities (beautiful, high quality appliances), as well as classic comforts like pool and foosball tables, fire pit, hot tub, and large, comfortable rooms and beds. The owner, John, was excellent to work with and communicated everything we needed to know in order to have a smooth check-in and check out. We would love to return someday and highly recommend this cabin for small to medium groups looking for a relaxing, private weekend retreat.

Permanent home is in The Villages, FL but love spending time on lake Douglas. We are here every month to enjoy the area and to maintain the property. Our theory is the nicer the place, the better people will enjoy their stay!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Spacious log home that I purchased from the original builders who placed the logs themselves and did a lot of the construction, hiring out what they needed to. Lots of TLC went into this home and it shows.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Private, quiet, peaceful. Hard to see another house during the months leaves are on the trees, and only minimal homes in view during winter months. Year-round water views!
