Lägenheten har allt du behöver för en bekväm vistelse, inklusive ett fullt utrustat kök, badrum med regndusch, sovrum med stor dubbelsäng (180x200 cm) eller två enkelsängar på begäran. I vardagsrummet finns en matplats för 4 och en soffa, som lätt kan ändras till en dubbelsäng (140x200 cm). I både vardagsrummet och sovrummet finns plattskärms-TV med Roku med ett bibliotek med filmer och TV-program att titta på på begäran, liksom Netflix. Wi-fi internet och gratis kaffe och te och tillhandahålls.

Fastigheten vetter mot havet och ligger bara några steg från strandvägen som går längs den gamla fiskebyen Eyrarbakki. Här är du bara 5 minuters promenad från en av de bästa restaurangerna på Island, Rauða Húsið (Röda huset), eller 5 minuters bilresa från den perfekt natursköna restaurangen Hafið Bláa. På sommaren (maj-september) finns två museer som berättar stadens historia och visar hur livet var för isländare tidigare, när Eyrarbakki var handelshuben i södra Island. Great stay in small town

This apartment had everything we needed. The location on the south coast of Iceland was great: convenient to Reykjavik and also the sights in southern Iceland. It was quiet, clean, and overall a great place.

Definitly new and comfortable. We love the tiny town, midnight walks in the light, so close to Selfoss for groceries and gear. Jessi’s photo art in everyroom was beautiful. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, etc were already there to fuel our evening. The early risers slept in a very comfortable couch pullout bed, our late sleeping college kids had the bedroom. The blinds could be darker for summer midnight sun, but we all slept. Excellent, would return again.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Freundlicher Empfang, hilfsbereites Personal, sehr schöne, moderne, gemütliche und ruhige Wohnung mit Fußbodenheizung, gut ausgestattete Küche, großes Badezimmer. Prima Lage um die Gegend um den Golden Circle und Reykjavik zu erkunden. Das einzig Negative waren die sehr harten Matratzen.

Quaint town! Right next to Water!

We loved our stay here. The place was comfortable, spacious, and clean. We had plenty of room to spread out and we enjoyed being able to make dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable- he recommended two hikes/walks and told us about the area. Very relaxing and beautiful! Highly recommend!

Top Unterkunft in perfekter Lage

Tolle Unterkunft in perfekter Lage direkt am Meer. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt für den Golden Circle. Wir sind mit Baby angereist und uns wurde extra ein Babybett zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr kinderfreundliche Unterkunft und alles vorhanden was benötigt wird für eine tolle Zeit auf Island.

Family road-trip in Iceland

While in Iceland, our family stayed in 4 different hotels/guest houses. My daughters (9 and 12) said this was their favorite. The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment was spacious yet cozy. At one point we had a fuse go out and cut the power to our entire apartment, but the host's response was immediate and friendly even though the time was late and it was the 2nd day of Christmas. Check-in and check-out were a cinch. The location is lovely, right on the coast. There is a little mini market right next door with every thing you might need. 5 stars Jen. Pennsylvania, USA

Iceland Vacation

The apartment was perfect for my family giving us privacy at the end of a long day of sight-seeing. The quaint town of Eyrarbakki was fun to wake up to and a quick trip to Selfoss and other spots in the South.

Ecru The hotel was perfect, I highly recommend Eyrabakki for the perfect Icelandic vacation. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there as well as all amenities that the place offered us. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed its seaside location and took many walks in the village.

Nice quiet place!

The place was easy to find. The owner provided easy check in instructions. The place is very clean, comfortable and quiet. You are right by the ocean! Just walk a few steps from your own deck. It was too cold and rainy for us to enjoy. After a day of sight seeing, we snuggled up inside to watch plenty of programs on TV!! We went into town for groceries, which was a short drive. Nice kitchen with a small fridge. We used the toaster and microwave. Plenty of dishes to use. There was tea and coffee available. I would highly recommend if you are in the area and need a nice place to sleep and relax. We stayed 2 nights and it is well worth the price. We ate in town for dinner one night and would recommend Kaffi Krus. Small quaint house with 2 stories. We got the fish and chips which was excellent and the Favorite pizza. We had extra pizza which we heated the next morning. The shower was nice and temperature warm. We did not have any issues at all. Thanks for such a nice place to stay during our first 2 nights in Iceland!!

I'm Jessi, an American living in Iceland. Together with my husband Jóhann (who's Icelandic), we own and manage the local restaurant Red House (The Red House) as well as 16 guest apartments and a small hostel here in Eyrarbakki.

Our apartments are located in the old fish factory in the heart of the village, right on the seaside. This large building was abandoned for many years after the harbor closed and the fishing industry shut down. Piece by piece, we are turning it into apartments for guests. It's perhaps not your typical vacation rental, because the apartments are purpose-built as guest accommodation—but it's a tiny village and we would like to invite more visitors to come and stay without taking family homes off the market. A small part of the building has a 36-bed hostel, and that's where we will meet you with the keys.

My husband and I are both avid travelers, having living in Thailand, Mexico, and Honduras before moving to Iceland. We love Iceland and our little village, and we
