Välkommen till vårt 3 sovrum, 2 badrum Cloud 9 Beach House precis vid utkanten av Wailea. Lokala Maui paret Tamara och Steve Farwig inbjuder dig att stanna hos oss i vårt vackra nya hem bara en kort promenad till stranden. Keawakapu är en vacker lång vit sandstrand några minuters promenad bort eller om du föredrar, lounge vid poolen i trädgården eller läsa en bok i hängmattan stol under främre mangoträd. Central A / C, stor platt-TV i varje rum och alla nya ombyggda modernt kök är bara några av de många funktioner i hemmet. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng med 700 lakan, fantastiska badrum med takfönster och en egen liten uteplats med en bistro bord. Det andra sovrummet är poolen med en dubbelsäng och det tredje sovrummet har två tvillingar som också kan omvandlas till king size-säng om så önskas. Du kommer bli förvånad över några av havsutsikten när du utforskar denna pärla med pool eller havsutsikt i varje sovrum. Detta hem är en perfekt storlek för familjer eller vänner på en budget som vill ha en trevlig semester tillsammans med privat pool som ligger mindre än 5 minuter från flera stränder, affärer och restauranger. Beach house was very clean. Check-in was simple. Tamara provided clear instructions for check-in/out and was just an email or text away if we needed anything. The outdoor area is beautiful with plenty of seating areas and a pool surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. Good location that was just a short walk or drive to the beach. Tamara provided all the beach gear you will need (chairs, umbrella, snorkel sets, wagon, etc).

Beach house

Great property with perfect location, very relaxing. It was a short driving distance to beaches, restaurants, shops- less than five minutes. Pool is not heated but warms up in the afternoon (during winter).

Family vacation

Very cute! Family vacation with teens & young adult children. Property was perfect for what we needed, location was within walking distance of beach but it is uphill on the way back home:) Tamara was very quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Would stay again.

Two weeks in Kihei

We loved staying here! We found the house to be clean and well-stocked. The yard was especially amazing with lots of space to lounge and eat. The location was fantastic and only a short walk or drive away to great beaches. Steve was extremely easy to get in touch with and gave very clear instructions on how to check in. We would be happy to stay here again.

Outstanding little vacation home.

My family and I had an amazing stay the at the Cloud 9 Beach House, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. The property was very clean and very well maintained, with high end appliances and all the comforts you could possibly need while on vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was a large variety of beach toys for the kids and beach chairs and umbrellas for the adults. Close 10 minute (max) walk to a great beach, and only a short 3-4 minute drive from restaurants and shopping. Most importantly though is that the hosts Steve and Tamara were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Some of the best hosts I've dealt with and we travel a lot and stay at exclusively vacation homes. Thanks for the great stay!

Excellent Vacation Home

We stayed at the property for 8 nights. Couldn't have chosen a better property. Location is perfect, not too close in to the village for privacy but not too far away that it is a hassle to get there. Short walk down the hill to a very nice beach with public access and parking. We never had an issue going to the beach or finding a place to park which was nice because there were a lot of people around. The pool is great for unwinding and cooling off after a hot day of sun and it is deeper than you think! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were nice. Plenty of places to hang out outside both front and back. Just a great house!!! The house is also situated very closely to the resorts so if you want upscale shopping, you are literally 1 mile away. Overall, I highly recommend this for a vacation rental!

Perfect Family getaway home

Seriously cannot rave about the house enough. We felt right at home. From the moment we walked in we knew we hit the jackpot. Perfect location and with a family of 5 and teenagers everyone had their own space which is a must. The amenities really made the difference. Coolers, beach chairs/ umbrellas, goggles . Just the works. We felt right at home after returning from our day. The pool is absolutely awesome and we loved lounging around in the chairs. The front was so peaceful in the mornings the drink coffee and listen to the birds. Beds are so comfy, fully stocked kitchen. This house really had everything and the host was great! Highly recommend booking this house. We will be back for sure

Threatened to be kicked out for not turning off AC

My family of 4 rented this home for 6 weeks this summer (booked over a year prior). We have 3 and 4 year old daughters. Average temperatures in Kihei this time of year have been 90+ degrees and very humid, with lows in the mid-70s at night. When we moved in the air conditioning was turned on to 75 degrees and locked (renters have no control). While it was a little warm to sleep at night, we are not complainers and were willing to run the fans and sleep with just a sheet. One afternoon two weeks into our stay, we had an ant problem in the kitchen. I quickly sprayed the cabinets to kill the ants, and cleaned the entire inside of the cabinets, washed all the glassware/dishehs. The owner said she would come by in the afternoon while we were at the beach to caulk an area where she thought the ants were entering. When we returned from the beach (gone a total of 2 1/2 hours), we found that the air conditioning had been turned off and it was 86 degrees inside the house. Immediately we reached out to the home owner about why the air was turned off. She said that their house policy is to turn off the AC EVERY TIME you leave the house. Her house, her rules. If we don't like it then we need to leave and she said she was coming over to kick us out and give us our cash refund for the remainder of our stay. She harassed us and threatened my husband. I took a photo of the baby monitor that night that showed my daughters room at 82 degrees at 10:30pm that night - obviously because the AC didn't have enough time to cool back down. We went to bed that night thinking she would realize how crazy this was in the morning and apologize. Instead, she said she would let us stay ONLY if we gave her a positive review. Otherwise, my family would be forced out to the street. The property listing nor rental agreement states anything about restricting air conditioning in the dead of summer - which is what we were upset about - especially for the price tag we were paying. After much anxiety and fear, we spoke with VRBO who told us not to speak with the homeowner anymore and that they would replace us at another property. Not only was this situation seemingly ridiculous, but incredibly inconvenient to repack my entire family and move all groceries/supplies. If there would have simply been a daily charge to keep the AC running at all times, we would have paid it! Then didn't even give us our entire refund for the remainder of our stay once we left the house in pristine condition!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The property was beautiful, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful details. It’s in a convenient location while still being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, which made it feel peaceful and relaxing. Tamara was wonderful to communicate with—she responded quickly, was very welcoming, and clearly puts care into making her guests feel at home. She’s thought of everything you might need, including plenty of essentials for a perfect day at the beach. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again if we return to Maui!

House was exactly as advertised - very clean, pool was great to soak in when we wanted a break from the beach, nice location a short drive from restaurants and shops, and plenty of room for the three adults and three kids in our group. Communication with the owner was excellent. We were very happy with our choice of this home for our Maui vacation.

Perfect home in Kihei

Loved everything about this home. Close to the beach, quick drives to grocery stores, market and gas station. Stayed with a family of 4 (adult kids) and everyone appreciated their own room although my daughter couldHave easily slept outdoors on the hammock during our stay.

Birthday Stay

Great place for my wife and I and our two daughters families, including one toddler. Very comfortable accommodations and the pool was great. The hill down to the beach wasn’t bad, but the parking lot at the bottom was a better choice, especially when carting everything for a two year old. Overall a great stay!

Family getaway

This is one of the best houses we have rented on vacation. Tamara has this property perfect. It’s right down the street from the beach & we so enjoyed the pool in the back yard. If we could give it a higher rating than 5 stars we would. Thank you Tamara! We hope to come back to Maui again one day hopefully soon.

THE best home and hosts EVER

Tamara Farwig and her husband were wonderful. I can't way enough about our stay. We stayed for 7 days and wish it was more The home was more beautiful in person. BTW there is a mango tree in the front yard and a lime bush for your mojitos! The hosts replied to any question immediately. They had all you needed for a great stay including sun screen! The neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything. If you are looking for a great stay in Maui THIS is it! Loved loved loved our stay an would stay again. There is a review about a centipede bite and sorry that happened to that guest --that had me worried but didn't see any bugs other than a harmless gecko and butterflies. No ants --but remember you are on an island and must not leave food out. The air conditioned takes a few minutes to cool the home and I am subject to hot flashes and sleep like a baby in the perfect temperature. The pool is perfect temperature and very private. the owners have games. puzzles, and left a basked of snacks. my only complaint is there is no full length mirror and I was getting ready for my wedding and that would be helpful and also the grill needs a cleaning. Those are tiny changes---it was a dream come true! get a mirror at walmart!

Home in Paradise

Our family loved this house. It was so spacious, the yard and the pool were a hit to sit and chat while the kids enjoyed the pool to refresh after long days at the beach. We used all the gadgets, beach towels, chairs, beach umbrella, toys- the foosball table was a hit, with tournaments day and night! The kitchen was fully stacked, we used it every day. The open kitchen and living room layout allowed all 7 of us to gather around the island and hang out. Walking to the beach with our family was easy—a prime location with shops and restaurants nearby. We will return and highly recommend it!

Fantastic family stay at Cloud9!

This is one of those special properties that makes the trip easy and memorable for all. We loved the pool, especially when the sun was out the kids wanted to be there all the time. Great kitchen, yard is fun to explore for little ones (mango tree, lots of lizards), and foosball in the garage a great added touch. Tamara was a great host and allowed us to check in early afternoon since our flight was early. Overall incredible experience and we hope to return very soon!

Dreamy Maui stay

We loved it here! Stayed with our 9yo and 2yo and grandparents and this worked well for us all. The pool was warmer than we expected being unheated and the kids were obsessed. Location was absolutely perfect t and easy for beaching and eating and visiting shops. Beds were comfy, we had everything we needed. Will hope to stay again!

Love the location!

Six of us stayed one week, including a two year old and five year old. The outdoor shower was used every day when returning from the beach by everyone. The pool was just wonderful. The pool water is chilly in January but we loved it and swam every afternoon. We appreciated the pack-n-play, flotation devices for kids, and beach toys. We would definitely stay here again. We do not want to leave.

Tamara Farwig är värd

Tamara has lived on Maui since 1996 and her two children were born and raised here. She has roots in Canada where she grew up (Jasper, Alberta) and most of her family still reside. Her son is finishing a degree in computer science at UBCO and her daughter attends Parson's Paris studying fashion design. Tamara owns and manages a permitted rental home (Cloud 9 Beach House) as well as a one bedroom and a studio condo in Wailea. She lives five minutes from her properties and takes great care to ensure her guests are happy and have all they need for a stress free Maui vacation.
