Weekend in Winter

A wonderful house to enjoy the local beaches from. The house was well equipped, very clean and warm despite the cold temperatures. Communication was great as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Seaside Retreat

Fabulous seaside crib evoking memories of family holidays way back when. House like a 1960’s timewarp….in all the best ways. Very comfortable. Very clean. Views to die for. We will be back next year !

FANTASTIC GET AWAY!

This property had everything that was needed for our annual get away. Space, warmth, and comfortable. Two families together (8) The batch feel was there with modern amenities'. Great communication with owner and ease of access to property. Great location with great views. 10/10.

A week in Winter.

Great place to stay with a kids room. Fire works well and keeps the place warm. Clean and tidy. Nice bit about the history of the house. Would stay again Thanks very much.

Kakanui beauty

We had a great time. The house was perfect. Had everything you could possibly need. A fire for those chilly mornings. The location was great. Views were beautiful. Beach close by....what else could you want!! Toys and DVDs for the kids and adults. Thanks for a wonderful place to have a few days away.

Relaxed holiday retreat

Great holiday home with amazing views and lovely relaxed feel. Great for families and pets as it’s all fenced off. Lovely nice walks down the beach and to the township, great place to just unwind and get away from the daily grind 😀

Very comfortable home

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 6. Very well equipped and really spacious throughout. Highlight was the lovely deck which gathers all afternoon and evening sun..all meals enjoyed there. Thanks for everything Nev and deb Cromwell

Fabulous Family Holiday

Amazing, happy holiday destination. This property has so much more to offer than what is listed. Such a surprise when we arrived, it was the perfect place for an our family holiday and we were all sad to leave. If you are looking for a holiday with the kids with plenty of room this property has it with a touch of Kiwiana. We had everything we needed and any queries were promptly sorted for us by Lisa and Dave. We would most definitely use this property again. Thanks so much 😊

Great spot

We loved the location, not somewhere we had stopped before. House had plenty of toys for the kids. We had one cold night but once the fire was going for a while it warmed up. Plenty of character in the house which was a nice change for us. Only 15min to town which was handy. Lovely drive down the coast line. Recommend the house and location for a nice family getaway.
