Stugan ligger pÄ Molasses Pond som Àr 3 miles lÄng. Vattnet lever som bÀst med en stor wrap runt dÀck för att njuta av ler, ankor och örnar etc. Wharf Àr fÀst vid dÀck för utmÀrkt bad, fiske och bÄtliv, tillrÀckligt stor för att rymma vattenskotrar. Det finns en eldstad för kvÀllen njutning. Vi har ett 10'x10 'skÀrmtÀlt. BÄtentusiast kommer att gilla vÄr nÀrhet till allmÀn bÄtramp med parkering. Detta lÀger Àr inte skrÀmmande för 2 personer utan rymmer 8. UppvÀrmd av en varmluftsugn, vÀggmonterad gasvÀrmare och elektrisk vÀrmare vid behov. Hantverkare vÀl, och skjul för att lagra cyklar etc. Strandhanddukar ingÄr inte. Liten lokal butik med lunchrÀknare bara 3 mil bort. Skaldjur och fÀrska grönsaker finns lokalt.

Disappointing that there was little privacy at this site. Plenty of space, and porch bed is nice and firm. Trip hazards abound though with steps going to decks and varying floor heights. Nice and close to the water. Kitchen could be better appointed. Random selection of leds outside affected depth perception at night. More trip hazards. Active mice in walls.

Overall the cottage accommodated us perfectly. The two decks came in handy as well as the gas grill. There was plenty of kitchen wares to make meals and a bathroom with shower worked great. We met the owners in our check out and they are very nice people. We would highly recommend this cottage

Our family has been renting on Molasses Pond for many years and we enjoyed our time at this homey cottage. The deck was fabulous, with its own pier/dock and a wonderful place to enjoy the water. However, there was on one or two days a substantial amount of noise from people on the public beach (one guy playing loud music from his van at 7:20 am). Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. We would certainly consider staying there again - excellent communication with owners and many thoughtful touches in the home. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect

My children loved this stay, the had so much fun, plenty of room in the camp, the deck was a hit when we weren’t in the water, the surrounding areas were perfect for exploring. We had a great time spending the Fourth of July here! Would love to make it a yearly trip.

Felt right at home

My sister’s and I were very impressed with the home. It was everything we expected and more. The view of the pond was amazing, we enjoined our morning coffee on the deck listening for the loons. Definitely plan to return for another Sister’s Weekend!!

We had a great time during our visit in Maine. The house was perfect, very quiet and peaceful. Being on the lake was such a nice touch. Will definitely be coming back!

We loved being so close to the water. Really enjoyed drinking my coffee out there in the morning. The camp was clean and met our needs. Our other accommodations on Molasses Pond fell through on the day we arrived. Carolyn was gracious to call my brother back and immediately let us have the camp on the next day. (my family lives in same town). We had a problem with upstairs a/c unit (probably user error). Carolyn's daughter came over and fixed it within 1/2 hour. We are grateful for the relationship our two families have had over the years and are thankful for the two times we have stayed in this camp. Lovely spot on Molasses Pond!

Nice play to stay overnight

Beds super comfy. Lots of space. Reminescent of grandma's house. Has an odor that isn't horrible but definitely noticable. Needs a good deep clean. However, the daily used items are clean.

Fall foliage trip

The location is beautiful. Lovely sunrise and sense views from the deck. Full moon rose over the water seen from the deck as well. House was clean, but a bit outdated. Beautiful area for photography.

Excellent!!

Not only it this location ideal for all things fun in surrounding areas but it's so beautiful there you really wouldn't need to the leave to enjoy your stay!! Our family really enjoyed the house, the lake of course and everything available to you, for an amazing vacation. Can't wait to go back!!

Nice spot

The location is nice if you’re looking for a quiet, off the beaten path house with direct water access. Bar Harbor/Acadia are about an hour away. The house itself was ok. Damp and a bit musty so hard on those with allergies of that sort. You can tell the owners have tried to combat this with several damp rids hanging all over. They Otherwise it had everything we needed and the outdoor areas were nice

Cottage in East Brook

The lake was great, quiet, clean and warm. We went swimming everyday. Could not keep the dogs out of the water so the gates were great for containment. Cottage clean and describe correctly. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots & pan. Easy check in and out. No issues. Been two years in a row. BJJ July 2024.
