Detta bekväma hem med vacker utsikt ligger relativt nära Bar Harbor och resten av Down East Maine. Det är på melass Pond och har en 90 "sandstrand vattnet rent våren utfodras och mycket gradvis. Stor konstnärlig reträtt eller perfekt för små killar. Hemmet har ett stort sovrum med en våningssäng och en dag säng på övervåningen i det främre rummet. Kul och funktionell. Sjön är klart och rent. Brunnsvattnet är mycket välsmakande. Det finns massor av spel i skåpet för att njuta av. Köket är väl utrustat.

Perfect Maine Getaway

Camp was exactly what we were looking for. Great location on Molasses Pond and close to MDI and ANP. Everything was as described. Couldn't ask for more. Family had a great week and enjoyed our visit home to Maine with family and friends.

Just what we were looking for!!

We were looking for a place on a quiet pond / lake, where we could enjoy relaxing with each other and our dog. 'Not a place to spend time texting, talking on a cell phone or spending time online... Disconnect, go swimming, fishing, kayaking, just sitting in the sun and listening to the loons!!

Peaceful lakefront, sweet cottage

We stayed for a week--near family and their friends. lake activities everyday, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, sitting on the beach. Every day was beautiful in its unique ways: foggy stillness, stiff winds, cloudless sun, gentle rain. We cooked at home everyday, in kitchen, and grill, fire pit. We discovered the joy of working on jigsaw puzzles with our children and grandchildren. We hope to return next summer.

Secluded and quiet

We had such a great time at this rental. The house was super cozy and the lake was perfect for swimming. We really enjoyed it!

Great memories

Quiet location with a great sand beach. Cabin has everything you need during your stay. Lots of books, puzzles, and movies for a rainy day. Perfect place to escape for some great family time.

A hidden gem!

This was a nice relaxing place to get away from it all. An easy drive to Acadia. The wildlife viewing was great. I sure hope we can get back there!

Great Quiet Escape

We had a great stay at this quiet camp. If you are looking for a quiet vacation away from civilization I was recommend this place. The pond is beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and the beautiful views.

Truly a quiet oasis! Cottage was exactly as pictured, clean and cozy. Karen is a great host. I unfortunately had to leave early, but will definitely be back.

Beautiful Scenic Pond Location

The views cannot be beat. The water in the pond is clean and lovely! If you are looking for a get-a-way that is truly unplugged...this is the place.

We had a great time!!!

The camp we easy to access and very clean! Very quiet area...everything we needed was right there...we brought our own food and clothes. There was even a stack of wood for the fire pit!!

Great place for peace and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet this property offered. The property owners did a great job preparing for our rental. The swimming was great and the water so clear you could see straight through to the bottom. It was a great getaway

Peace and Quiet

This was everything I hope for. The Artist’s retreat was pet friendly quiet water front haven from all intrusions. I could stay forever. The retreat had everything we needed. I’m jealous I don’t own this little piece of heaven.

Peaceful week at Molasses Pond

We loved our stay at Karen's place on Molasses Pond. The pond was lovely, clean water, nice beach, great for swimming and kayaking. We saw so many birds and ducks and hardly any people.. The house is not fancy, but was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a beautiful, quiet and relaxing getaway.

Another magical Maine trip

Second time vacationing here and will make it a tradition, and made sure to do two weeks this time which was perfect. Crystal clear pond, cozy camp, wonderful neighbors, kids and dog ran free and barefoot. Truly soul reviving! Thank you!

Great place!

Place is great to do nothing but read, sleep, canoe and swim. Would definitely do again. Owner is nice to deal with, even though I had no issues while there. I also had my 2 dogs with me, and they were in the water every day. Bring insect spray for night, you will need it if outside, or completely cover up. Perfect vacation for us.

Fabulous, relaxing, perfect to unwind and spend time with my family

We had a great time. With 2 teenagers, it's hard to find something that appeals to everyone. This house was perfect. We could bring our dog, kayak and fish. Play family games lots of Uno...read books, nap, generally unwind from our crazy busy schedules. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park...Thanks so much for a lifetime of memories!

Beautiful and comfortable

This is a wonderful, comfortable house, stocked with both everyday needs and joyful, delightful, unexpected bits of art. It is just steps from the lake with chairs at the shoreline to relax in. The sun shines all day by the water. The water is quite shallow for many feet out; we didn't love this aspect, but it is great for kids or people less comfortable in the water. Deep Cove, where the cottage is located, is peaceful and serene.

Sweet surrender

This was one of the best vacations my family has ever had. It was so restorative, and we felt so connected to nature around us. The kids loved playing in the water all day. I really appreciated the hospitality and welcome Of the neighbors. The cottage was comfortable, and had everything we needed to camp out for the week. We plan to return for an extended time. I purchased this property from my Grandmother. My Grandparents built the original camp in 1950. When I bought it was off grid with an outhouse. We slowly upgraded and added a second floor. This winter we replaced windows and will be trimming them out this spring, I'll upgrade the photos when the current makeover is complete.

This property is private and homey. A great spot to relax and unplug. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, sand beach relaxing, or just watching the birds.
