Hinton Guest House is a gorgeous palace-looking furnished bungalow with a view of high mountains. My idea of a vacation begins with exclusive accommodations in serene natural beauty. It is a getaway where you can enjoy complete comfort in it. Stay as you gaze at the twinkling constellations from your porch-swing firepit with an unobstructed view of the Rocky snow-peaked mountains.
Every room is tailored with comfort and privacy and has a private fireplace and endless amenities. Furnished and professionally managed seven-bedroom vacation home. Rent the entire place. On-property heated covered parking, RV parking, and on-site Parking. It has a beautiful garden behind the building. Tall pine trees at the park's rear end add to the building's beauty.
Enjoy BBQ and BBQ kitchen and look no further.
An onsite basketball court is free to use. The theatre room has beautiful recliner sofas. The big-size washrooms give you the comfort of a steam bath and remind you of the Turkish hammams.

Beautiful house

Big group, 3 families. Everyone had their own space, and washrooms. Could not be happier with the accommodations.

Big and Luxurious house and a nice location

The house was big and Luxurious with lots of space for 15 of us, 5 car garage was a plus as well. Kids liked the movie theatre and the basket ball courts in the backyard. The house is also very near to lots of good eateries. With not much available inside of Jasper we decided to stay in Hinton and we are glad we did stay in this house.

Family Ski Trip

Great house and location to access Jasper for a ski day. Our family was impressed with the size of the house and the kids loved the TV room. The previous reviewer noted a few deficiencies which we found the same but when they are addressed this will be the prefect family get away. We will be back! Thanks

Not Clean

The property is beautiful and large. It has the capability to house many guests and be a great retreat for a large gathering. There were a number of issues. The listing does not indicate that the property is not fully ready for guests at this time and should have been more upfront with the details of basic missing items. 1. There is no kitchen table and chairs or any barstools for the counter seating in the kitchen to be able to eat at a table. Adults may be able to balance a plate on their laps to eat but this proved difficult for the small children we had with us. 2. There are no sheet pans for baking on and no toaster. 3. Most of the kitchen items, glassware, pots, griddle, etc still had the labels on them. We had to remove labels and packaging in order to cook with the pans. 4. The dishwashers are not level and it was difficult to load and unload them as the racks come crashing out. One had to be wary as toes would be smashed by the handles of the dishwasher as it comes down fast and with force. 5. One of the dishwashers had dirty pots and plates left in it. 6. The oven had an extremely dirty pan and burnt on griddle that took a day to soak to get clean. 7. One fridge had leftover pizza in it and the coffee maker had old coffee in it. 8. Many of the beds did not have proper sheets on them. Some had no mattress protecters and other had the wrong sized mattress protector. Others had no sheets and only a thin blankets on them. We had to search for bedding and make beds up in order to sleep. 9. One bed, when entered had a previous guests dirty socks in between the sheets. This would indicated that the sheets were used and not cleaned. This is unacceptable and totally gross. 10. There were 4 regular sized bath towels, but all the rest were not much bigger than a hand towel. One knows it is bad when the tiny six year old comments “This is so small and cold.” 11. There were wet sheets in the dryer and wet towels in one of the washing machines. 12. The worst was the the entire house was not cleaned properly which included the bathrooms. All bathrooms had urine, hair, poop, dirt on and in every toilet. Toothpaste, random red goop and scum on every counter and in the sinks. The showers were not cleaned. We spent the first hour in the rental house with five of us deep cleaning every bathroom so we could use them.

Mansion Misery

We booked this for New Years Eve after seeing the photos online and noticing it had a theatre room. There were many issues with the property. We arrived to a loud annoying beeping noise because the smoke alarm needed new batteries. It's obvious the home was not professionally cleaned...the inside entrance was covered in snow and mud. The person who gave us the keys started mopping as we entered so wet floors to greet us. NONE of the TV's worked. We managed to get the small one working after switching out batteries. I don't think the theatre TV has ever been used. (wasted hours trying to fix it). The supplies are so scarce....no soap in the bathrooms, thin towels (only bath), not enough cutlery for a family to use, plates left dirty and crusty, beds aren't made properly and are missing sheets. There is no dining room table and no stools to sit on to eat together. The place is huge and takes a ton of time to heat up (heat was turned down prior to arrival) so it was freezing for the first couple of hours. We have lots of experience staying in different places. We won't be back. I requested a partial refund as this was a huge disappointment being New Years Eve. Communication with owners is super difficult. They offered me a discount on my next stay which won't be happening. There wasn't even a toaster! They basically slapped together the bare basics to advertise it quickly. I also noticed the rate greatly fluctuates (more than doubled what I paid which was still too much). It's simply bad news and needs a lot of care and attention.
