Wonderful

The the location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach and very quiet area, the room was clean, well funished, and ver comfortable witch made for a nice relaxing stay.

Vacation

Great location, close to beach and Dollar General store. Property was very clean and comfortable. The fenced in area was nice to sit outside with the dogs. Would stay again.

Great Mother’s Day weekend

Quiet neighborhood. Dollar General around the corner. Beach access real close by. Had a great weekend with family. Beds were comfortable.

Junky rundown apartment (classic beach shack)

The cleaners did the best they could to make the rundown “in bad need of repairs” place clean. The floors in various rooms were mismatched and looked awful, the tv antenna didn’t get reception to watch tv, all interior/exterior doors in terrible shape, awful couch that sank to the floor with a cover on it. There was not even a working can opener. When we arrived there was 1/2 roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and none in the other. No paper towels or dishwashing liquid. Tables/furniture looked like it came from a debris pile on the side of the road. I’d never rent this unit again. The one and only good thing about the unit is that it’s one block from the beach.

Not great

Thankfully there's a washer and dryer so we were able to clean the sheets the first night we were there instead of contacting the property at 10pm. We found tons of hairs on the sheets, what looked like people and animal hair and some stains. We also found hairs on the wash cloths. The floors were dirty and the house has a damp/musty smell, especially when the air isnt running, it didnt smell clean. The shower handle was broken off, the toilet was left dirty with matter in it, and the shower liner was ripped pretty bad. We found a handful of different roaches while there as well. Thankfully there is a Dollar General in walking distance so we were able to purchase supplies to make it work for the weekend. It was bike week so choices were limited at last minute and we had our dog there so we didn't contact anyone because we didn't want to be kicked out with all our stuff inside so they could address the issues that should have already been done before our arrival. No one has yet to email me back afterwards though. For dog owners, the walking areas aren't great, tons of sand spurs that get stuck in their skin/paws so take caution. .

I had made arrangements to check in about an hour earlier, but when we got to the room there was no one there and the place was trashed. I called the check-in person they said they were on the way. I took them about 30 minutes to get there and then it took them a whole long time to clean. We also had our pets with us and we had to go sit in the back in the heat and there was dog feces all over the place. The dryer had something wrong with it and a piece came out of something at the event filter and damaged a couple shirts when we used it. I found dog feces around the couch and other places. The check-in person was supposed to come Friday evening with laundry detergent and an AC filter but we never got those items until Saturday evening. I sent her a message when we were checking out about the dryer and took a picture but never had any response back. I took pictures for myself of how my wife and I left it when we checked out. It was a whole lot better than when we were there.
