Houston Heights

The house was nice. The location was decent. When we tried to check-in, the automatic door lock did not work. We were unable to reach the local contact and resorted to the property company in Idaho. They eventually put us in touch with the homeowner's grandmother who provided us a key to use for our stay. We had four guests and we only found three sets of towels that appeared clean. There were not any additional linens available. The other comfort items (soaps, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. were plentiful). The original listing said parking for three vehicles was available. After the reservation was made, we were informed the previously promised garage was not available. We ended up parking along the street in front of the house which was OK because we have a 4X4 truck and could manage the storm drain area. All in all the house was nice and we may stay here again.

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Beautiful townhome close to downtown Houston

Location is great and is a short drive to downtown Houston and Minute Maid Park. Short distance to Kroger grocery store and restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and spacious however when we arrived the key code given to us to get access to enter the property was wrong, so we had to call the management company to get a new code and we also found out that we did not have access to the garage even though it was posted as available to use in the property description. There was a lack of pots and pans. There was only one fry pan and a very large cast iron pot. We had to end up buying a small pot with lid at Kroger's to use to cook. Beds are very firm and there were no extra covers or pillows. The bed in the master bedroom only had a fitted sheet and comforter, no sheet. It is a beautiful home, just know that you will have to climb stairs to get to the kitchen and bedrooms. Other than that, it was a nice stay and the management company replied quickly to our concerns about not being able to use the garage.
