Sunday House - Luxury Restored Church in Historic Maldon
Sunday House is an ode to the most relaxing day of the week and a tip of the hat to this ex-Sunday School, which will soothe your soul the minute you step inside. This stylish 1865 architecturally converted Welsh Baptist church is slick, luxury holiday rental at its finest - right in the heart of Maldonâs historic township.
Heritage listed and meticulously renovated, there are wood-lined loft ceilings, black strapped beams and 3 metre high arched windows looking out over Maldon's stunning streetscapes. Within this magnificent leafy space, the living area has a 10 seater formal dining table, huge fireplace, large comfy lounge, smart TV, Sonos speaker system, pool table, games, office and library nook.
Sleeping 8, Sunday House has 3 queen bedrooms, 1 master king room and 2 bathrooms with large glass walk-in showers, hairdryers and organic Castile soap. Each of the bedrooms have been designed for absolute comfort and are complemented with contemporary art.
The well appointed chefâs kitchen, has every appliance needed to whip up a spectacular meal. Dine in the formal dining room or enjoy a more relaxed meal at the large sunny, rustic kitchen table. To further soak in the surrounds, simply open the double french doors to the large deck and sprawling entertainers yard.
Outside you can enjoy a shady dining space, gas BBQ, fireplace and large lawn. We LOVE dogs - so Sunday House is pet friendly, with secure fencing. Well behaved âGooood boooys & giiiiirrlllsâ only!
