The Whiskey Cavern in Fallbrook

Our Whiskey Cavern Man Cave and SheShed has everything you’ll need and want for a fun weekend away. Grab your friends and come and enjoy the pool table, dart board, hammock, horseshoes, pickle ball court just to name a few of the many extras this man cave has to offer or relax in the SheShed with your girls for a quiet get away.

The Whiskey Cavern offers the ideal setup for groups seeking spacious accommodations, as it features two separate houses on the property. This unique arrangement ensures ample space and privacy for everyone, allowing each individual to fully enjoy their stay.

The man cave has an open floor plan downstairs, with a large 55 inch Tv in the main living space. Decorated with antique car memorabilia and a touch of whiskey mementos around the home. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 7. The two bedrooms are located up a ladder. They both have queen memory foam mattresses. Downstairs, we have 2 pull out couches with brand new mattresses, a queen and a full. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic items to whip up a few meals and the BBQ out back is always ready to be lit up.

Our sheshed combines the elegance of vintage decor and can sleep 4 additional people with 2 additional bedrooms and 1 full bath. Step inside and be greeted by the warmth of a cozy fireplace in the living room, inviting you to unwind and relax, just what you were needing. The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you will need for your stay.

Interesting fact about this space: Years ago, it was a car restoration business, where Jay Leno and many of Hollywood's socialites would come to restore their desired vehicles.

While the property is beautiful - great for two families as it is two separate houses - there is major room for improvement. The cleanliness of the property was not acceptable. Sheets were dirty, cobwebs, dog hair was covering cookware, mice droppings, set mouse traps (without warning, which was alarming with little kids!) and a broken security gate. While we understand this is a rural property, the cleanliness must be improved. This property has great potential.

We stayed here for a family wedding, and the space provided enough room for myself and my two siblings and their partners and our dad. Location is great, just a 10 minute drive to downtown Temecula where there is lots of life and excitement. The grounds of the property are spacious and give plenty of room for Playing around. The repurposing of the garage into a second home for the property was so convenient. The smaller house housed my sister and her family who have a six month old baby and our elderly father. The bigger house, loud space for everyone to hang out and be together and play games and have meals together. Overall a great experience.

This cool looking and great location was absolutely the WORST rental ever! It was infested with mice, mosquitoes, bugs, cobwebs and flying insects!!!!!! We had to relocate after arriving! Beware!!!!

Family Xmas Get-Away

The Whisky Cavern 'complex' was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 young adult children medium sized dog.While the people enjoyed the accommodations and amenities offered, I believe our dog was the greatest fan of the grounds as he had his own private acre dog park including a creek.

Perfect stay. Everything was as described and the communication with the property management was excellent. Perfect for any family and the location to area vineyards makes this a great place to stay.

Nice stay with a few issues

The property is beautiful and has plenty of games/entertainment. Host was very kind and accommodating with the issues we had. However, we came for our wedding weekend and the gardeners came the morning after our wedding, so the outside space was unusable to have brunch with our wedding party as planned. While we know this was not the hosts fault, it was an inconvenience. We made the host aware so that it hopefully won’t happen for future guests.

Peaceful getaway

My sister, son and I stayed for four days. The property was EXACTLY what we'd hoped for. Tons of space, lots to do, located near places we wanted to go to like Temecula and Oceanside. We loved our stay here. Our discoveries: -Everything was super clean (and flawless like the houses were recently remodelled), linens and towels nice quality - Beds were wonderfully comfy. I picked the bed perfect for me and my sister got one perfect for her. - It was peaceful, quiet, and restful, and we liked sitting by the little creek running along the property. We loved opening the garage-style doors and letting the air flow through the front house and enjoying the shade trees. - There's pool, table tennis, darts, shuffleboard, and lots more to do, including huge TVs everywhere. We easily set up our Netflix account. - Having two houses means you can split up and get some quiet time. My son loved his bedroom on the 2nd floor of the front house. - It was 10 minutes to The Hearth coffee shop in downtown Fallbrook, 12 minutes to Corkfire restaurant at the Temecula Creek Inn, and 30 minutes to The Rooftop Bar in Oceanside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as well. We liked the gated entry and the lovely community the house is in, we felt very safe. Very few properties are so pristine and give you so much space, and so many choices. Definitely a 10/10!

Family stay and baby shower

The property was wonderfully taken care of. We had my daughter’s baby shower at the house on a Sunday. The barn space was as perfect with plenty of seating and game options. The use of both houses made it helpful for some of the older guests who needed a quiet space.

Great spot for a boy's golf trip!

Great space to hang out after golfing all day! We enjoyed the shuffleboard and darts. Will stay again!
