Viewside Getaway - Newly Updated Waterfront Home!

Located on the North Shore of the Lake of the Ozarks, Viewside Getaway features 2 levels of completely remodeled (in 2022) living space! Upstairs you'll find the family room, with couch, TV and 4-top dining table, with access to an open air deck with a nice view overlooking the lake. You'll also find a king bedroom and a queen bedroom upstairs, with a shared full bathroom which includes a shower.

Downstairs you'll find the kitchen, complete with brand new appliances, breakfast bar, dining table and living room. Off the living room is the third bedroom featuring a queen sized bed. Completing the lower level is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo located just off the kitchen. This home also features a full-sized washer and dryer.

Enjoy the large deck off the lower living area with plenty of seating and a gas BBQ grill. This property includes a two well dock, featuring two slips (12x28 and 12x31) along with a swim ladder, located in a large cove off the main channel of the Lake at the 5 miler marker.

By land this home is approximately 20 minutes from the Bagnell Dam strip area where you will find shopping, restaurants, a grocery store and other attractions including scenic cruises of the Lake of the Ozarks with the port next to Bagnell Dam.

Perfect for our group

This rental is very clean and comfortable. Nice deck space with lots of seating options. Love the location. Nice concrete dock with plenty of room for fishing, swimming, etc.

Awesome Views

The property is great, nice 2 tier deck especially the covered part with patio lights. Nice rooms and beds, stocked kitchen. Nice grill and fire pit, huge dock for boats, swimming and/or fishing. Just need toclean better in between stays. Every corner of every room was covered in cobwebs. And carefull on the dock, 1 of our guests fell through and hurt herself pretty badly Just need to

Beautiful Home Right On The Water

Everything was great! Easy check-in and out. Clean house in great location. Updated nicely. The only issue was the water was hard with too much iron. Water was rusty color and smelled bad. We noticed a water filtration system, but perhaps it needs to have some filters changed out or it needs replacing. We just bought bottled water for the duration of our stay to work around this issue.chaout or

Amazing Family Trip

This property was very clean and up to date. We rented a tritoon and brought our jet skis, and really enjoyed having the huge dock. We did some fishing and were able to bring our dogs. Response was fast and easy. We recommend the public boat launch on North Shore, Loto Marina is closed for the season. Also, for boat rental we used Adventure Boat rental on North Shore. They were cheaper than the rest, even for gas. We also liked Scooters Rental. Tom (owner) was great, we got gas there and rented tubes from him. All in all, this place was perfect for our family of 6 and 2 large dogs. We will definately be renting from you again. Thank you!

Location was great. House was clean however our sheets weren’t changed since there were dog hairs from the last guest. The bathrooms leaked sewage gas and with one being right next to the kitchen it was rather nauseating. The response to the issue was prompt however only half fixed; when sitting out on the deck if a toilet was flushed you could also smell sewage gasses outside. The newly finished deck is a safety concern for smaller children due to the wiring aesthetic that’s insecure with a few already snapped. Dock is accessible.

Average- typical stay

I guess I’m not sure what I expect out of these types of places anymore. The overall cleanliness was just not great. Sheets were covered in black dog hair (yes I expected some dog hair being it was pet friendly but I felt this was over the top). We tried to enjoy the back porch at night but the amount of spider webs was overwhelming. This should be something included when the place is cleaned- it takes 5 minutes to knock them down. Again, just general cleanliness was not amazing- it seemed the housekeeper probably cleans the toilets and that’s about it. Positives to this place: LOCATION- would book again for this alone. Responsiveness was A+. Ease of access to house A+.
