A perfect girls’ getaway!

I can’t say enough good things about this lovely property! I stayed here with a group of girls and it was the perfect home base for a wine country getaway. The space is beautifully decorated and was comfortable for 8 of us. It’s quiet and in such a beautiful area, with amazing views of the mesa, as the name says! We loved sitting on the deck for a morning coffee and taking in the stars from the hot tub. Thanks for such a perfect stay!

Amazing, Hospitable and great communication!

Our family had a wonderful time! The host was very accommodating for not just us, they were very accommodating to pets! They have an area specific to dogs and cats that ranges from blankets and bowls to treats! They were easy and great to communicate with. They also offered a variety of places to look into if you're unfamiliar with the area. We had a very relaxing weekend and felt well taken care of! 20/10 would recommend!!

Great location

Was a wonderful relaxing vacation in Palisade area. Many hikes and mountain bike trails to explore. Along with wine sampling at winerys nearby!

Relaxing and Wonderful Home

We had a wonderful stay in this great home. The location was secluded and quiet - and in such a beautiful place. The owner was terrific in being accommodating and welcoming. Palisade is a beautiful area.

Beautiful home with amazing views!!

We stayed here with 6 adults and 3 infants and had an amazing time! House is in a great location with beautiful 360 views!! Close to so many great wineries and orchards. We had an amazing time and hope to come back!

Birthday weekend

This was a beautiful property! The views of the Mesa, the Bookcliffs and the valley were spectacular! Great place for star gazing. The house was so comfortable. There were 6 adults here for 60th birthday celebration and we had a great time. Would stay here again!

Peaceful Birthday Retreat

We loved the peacefulness of the house. My wife loved the windows and I loved the high ceilings. Our stay was just what we needed to celebrate our birthdays. The hot tub and star watching was the perfect ending to a day of hiking.

Palisade Peaches & Wineries

This is a beautiful home with charming decor. A rural setting w/amazing views outside every window! We spent our days shopping and visiting local farms for fresh produce, especially peaches. Enjoyed visiting some wineries and then sipping the local wines while watching the beautiful sunsets of the valley. Our host Jean gave us great suggestions of what to see and do and was very responsive to a couple of questions we had about the house after checking-in. Would definitely stay here again! Amazing views and comfy space

Decided to take a couples trip to celebrate a friends birthday and this little gem was perfect! From the amazing views, to the large kitchen to the hot tub, our group took full advantage. Jean was great at reaching out and sharing favorite restaurants and tips for a successful trip. Plan to stay again in the future.

Nice Place

This place was great to stay at. They had everything you need in the kitchen which is a big plus. Jean and Steve were very good with communication leading up to the stay and during the stay. Its close to multiple wineries and orchards. We were in town staying for graduation at CMU, so it was a bit of drive back and forth to Grand Junction, but we spent most of our time at the house and at wineries that were close. I would highly recommend this place to medium size and large groups.

Amazing house with beautiful views!

This house was perfect for my family. It was clean and spacious. The location is so beautiful with orchards and wineries all around it. The kitchen is very stocked. They also had everything we needed for our little children. Jean was amazing. She made sure we knew where we were going and to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be staying here again!! Seriously you will love it!

Beautiful home

Very spacious home, perfect for our girls' weekend. Communicative host. I emailed and texted several questions before arriving and Jean was responsive and helpful! There's condiments in the fridge, coffee and tea provided, and a truly lovely and secluded get away. We enjoyed our stay! Just keep in mind that you are 15 minutes from anything like town, so driving is required if you want to go out to dinner. AND the driveway is tricky so follow her directions! Would stay again!

This is the Perfect Place!

The house and property are beautiful! From the windows that offer panoramic views, to the fully stocked kitchen to the nice added touches, I am amazed and impressed. A minor issue resulted in immediate, kind, and attentive help. The house is a great size and with two living rooms, friends and family have the option to spend time together, or break away and share alone time. The views are breathtaking and offer the span of the Monument, Bookcliffs, and Grand Mesa. Truly a great place for relaxing, amazing sunsets and photographic moments...and enjoying all that Palisade has to offer. We WILL be back and are already looking forward to it!

Wine Country Weekend

This home is lovely! You walk in and see the beautiful view through the large windows in the living room. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and the beds very comfortable. The swamp cooler kept us comfortable on 88 degree days. But the real magic of this home is the outdoor space! Dining table, hot tub, four chairs we could pull into the yard so we could sit under the tree to read and drink coffee in the mornings and share a bottle of wine in the evening. Jean was very responsive and helpful when we had a minor issue. She recommended a great winery (Restoration). We had a beautiful dinner at Peche - but book early before you get to Palisade. I can also recommend the Palisade Rim trail for a fantastic hike.

Off the beaten path, but so worth it.

We enjoyed 3 nights at the property. It was very clean and well equipped with all the cooking and serving utensils one would ever need. The house was a comfortable despite the blazing heat outside. The apricot trees provided a healthy and delicious snack during our visit. Although we never made it into the hot tub, it was large enough to accommodate 3-4 people easily. The bed in the master suite was VERY comfortable, with good views of the mountains to the east of the property. Mount Garfield is front and center in the large window in the dining room. We can’t say enough good things about our host, as she was very attentive and responsive to questions that we had during our stay. One recommendation we would have to the hosts is to do a little trimming on the Locust tree in the back yard to make the mountains more visible. Overall, it was an outstanding experience.

Our epic trip to CO!

We loved our vaca and our stay in Palisade! The accommodations and amenities at the Palisade Retreat was the icing on the cake! We loved being able to dip into the hot tub every evening with the view of the mountains in the background! The home was really clean, comfortable and had EVERYTHING we needed. We had four adults and six kids staying there and had enough space for everyone. Loved that there are two living room spaces!! The beds are so comfortable and even the two camping cots were helpful. There is so much to do in the area! We mountain biked every morning, went horseback riding at red rock adventures and even did an amazing yoga session just down the road at peach orchard yoga - GO! Restoration winery around the corner was an amazing place for drinks and dinner outside. Seriously, this trip and stay is on the top of our vacation list. Jean was so great to work with and responded so quickly. Towels, toiletries, laundry supplies, local chocolates, kitchen supplies, tv options, and so many little touches — this place has it all. And the view is seriously unbelievable. It is on the very very edge of the homes in the area so you have so much privacy and the BEST view of the mountains. You are surrounded by peach and apricot trees. This was a getaway to remember.

Lovely Stay in Palisade!

We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the location and house were! We did love our stay, however the cleanliness lacked. Here’s what we found: When we arrived, there was a used washcloth (with lots of makeup) hanging in the bathroom. There was also a decent amount of hair on the entry ledge into the shower. No biggie, you say….then as we were unpacking in the kitchen , we came across the coffee pot, which was full of old coffee and coffee grounds. We noticed many dead bugs on the floor, which is probably to be expected in this area. However, my 7 year old daughter all of a sudden had a STICKY TRAP (for insects/rodents) stuck to her shoe! Not sure I would’ve ventured to put one of those on the floor where guests would be! Lastly, we noticed quite a bit of pet hair on the throw pillows in the living area. Luckily, none of us have any pet dander allergies. None of these things deterred us from having a great time, however, I really wonder what was actually cleaned before we got there. All in all a lovely place. Would love to see the peaches in the spring and summer!

Amazing place to stay

We spent 6 days in this house in the end of April and the whole experience was great. The house was stocked with pretty much everything you could want. The drive up the driveway sets the tone (take Jean's directions and not off maps) no neighbors around so its quiet. The view is amazing. The weather was perfect and couldn't get any better for nights in the hot tub. You must go see the Colorado Monument and go to Arches National Park. Plenty of wineries and we used Fave from Pali-tours. He knows everything about the area. The couple small things we needed, Jean had then knocked out for us immediately. Neither really had anything to do with the house. We have family in the area so there is a chance we will be back.
