Family vacation

Great stay! House was as described. We needed to contact the owners shortly after arrival and they got back to us immediately about our question regarding the AC temp and took care of everything right away by sending a technician out to fix the issue. I was really grateful and also impressed they handled it so quickly. My only issue is we couldn’t use the grill because it appeared to be rusty looking inside. Otherwise great stay!

This house was not at all what I was expecting. We were unable to use the pool because the day we showed up there was algae all throughout the pool. The master bedroom back door was also open when we showed up and off the track so all the air conditioning was leaving the house. The house was 78/79 the entire time and never cooled off. It was miserable to try and sleep at night. I emailed the first contact immediately when I showed up about the pool and AC but she never responded. Finally called her the next day and she said she saw the email but never opened it or looked at the email. They sent the pool cleaners out two days later but it was the day we were leaving so our kids did not get to use the pool. This stay was awful! I was hoping to get a refund on one night but again, when I sent a message to them, surprise surprise no one responded. Do not book!

The house is wonderful and the property had everything you need to make your vacation great. Really appreciated the extra details and amenities, such as coffee, tea, salt & pepper etc. Will definitely be back.

Very satisfied

Stayed for 4 days and the house had everything we needed. Price was great given how nice of a place it was. We meet some of the neighbors and they were all very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

My Dream Home Away From Home!

This home has it all! Very beautiful and very well maintained, minutes from everything you could need. We loved everything about this home, the master bed sleeps like a cloud! The local people in this town are so nice. If we are ever in the area again we hope to stay again. If I could give this home 10 Stars on everything I would, and thank you for making your nightly price affordable.

Nice Time

We had a few bumps to start off with-The pool was not filtering (turned on) and there was no grill, as it was listed in the description. However, once I contacted the property guest manager, the next day we had a new grill at the house and the pool worked without any issues- very responsive! The house has beautiful decor. We were a party of 8 adults and felt there was a shortage of staple household items, such as: towels, wash clothes, and dishes. Location was great and easy to get to Punta Gordo and local spots. The house was comfortable for all of us with plenty of space and privacy!

Good bones but not rental ready and pool was too cold.

Our rental was for a whole month with six adults. The house was spacious enough for our group with three full baths and we loved the use of the 2 car garage. The location was good for local shopping and some restaurants. However, the house was not rental ready as there we numerous kitchen lights out, a leaking propane tank on patio and hurricane shutters were still in place on some windows. Finally, the substantial extra cost for heating the pool was a total waste of money. We contacted owner to have temperature of pool raised from a chilly 79 degrees to a more acceptable temp of 84, he refused this request. This dramatically reduced our pool use and as he was firm in not accommodating us, we will not rent this site again.

Not as pleasant as I'd hoped

So when we first get to the house the front of the house looks like it has not been taking care of there was old and new leaves and branches that look like they hadn't been sweep up in a while and when we get into the house it seemed very dim. Not many lights in the rooms at all mainly just table lamps and it gave it a really depressing feel especially woth the dark colors and furniture all over the house then to top everything off the pool was dirty, so i reached out to the property manager and she told me that someone would come the next day to clean so we waited all of the next day and no one showed up to clean the pool ao i reached back out to the property manager and ahe said they will be there the next day from 1:00pm-3:00pm so at around 4pm i reached back out to tell her no 1 showed up. The property manager then yext me back about 1 1/2 hours later to tell me that they had to let go of the pool company but that someone would definitely be there by 6pm. Someone did show up at about 5:30pm but was told to just skim the pool which was not all that needed to be done, after talking to the guy he tried his best to help us and even took out the filter and tried to clean it and when he did he said this filter had not been cleaned in a very long time he had to clean it 3 times to get it somewhat clean and the added some chlorine and skimed the pool and said he would definitely let them know that the pool needs more than that but that would help us for we can use it.
