The location and availability of the free shuttle to Universal were ideal for our trip to Universal Studios. The room was sufficient for what we needed--albeit it was a little outdated. The common spaces like the elevator were not the cleanest but nothing alarming. As a visitor--you don't have access to the water park which includes the lazy river. This was a disappointment but there are multiple other pools that are included. Having on-site dining was also helpful after a long day at the parks.

Must Stay! Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Studio at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa — it truly exceeded our expectations!The pool was absolutely fantastic — clean, spacious, and the perfect place to relax after long days at the parks. The check-in process was a breeze, very smooth and quick, and the communication from the host was super fast and helpful every step of the way.We were thrilled with how affordable this stay was, especially given the prime location — just minutes away from Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. It made getting to and from the parks so easy.The check-out process was just as simple as check-in — no stress at all.We will absolutely be recommending this place to our friends and family back home — it’s a hidden gem! And without a doubt, we will be returning for future trips.Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Weekend Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at Westgate. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The grounds had so many things to do and food options you didn’t need to leave the resort. The location was convenient to shopping and local activities. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful Experience

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and facing the lake, and we had easy access to the Waterpark on property as well as Disney and Universal Studios. The resort has a daily shuttle to Universal Studios, which saves money on parking. Also, there was no daily parking or resort fee. We had a wonderful experience!

We traveled from MI having never stayed at this property before. We found the listing to be fairly accurate. Loved the privacy of the balcony and the bathroom. The furnishings could be updated, but for the price we aren’t complaining.

Perfect Stay for a family

This place has everything, my husband had a conference so the kids and I hung at the the resort and enjoyed every minute. There is so much to do and the pools are very clean. We enjoyed the bike riding rentals.

Property could use some maintenance. Kitchen hot and cold water is reversed. Some of the pool facilities were in need of repair. Huge line at check in.

Decaying property, poor staffing and mindless management

The property seems to be a decade or two behind the times. It needs a facelift badly The room smelled when we entered. Management believes trash be left outside the door is normal and efficient then doesn't even check to see if staff has done as told before calling to say it was done. We awoke to a bag of trash torn to bit on the front step by some animal Then had to wait till the afternoon for it to be cleaned. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This reflects very poorly on VRBO.

Quick Disney visit

We had a short 2 night(1 day at Animal Kingdom) stay before leaving on a cruise. The property was a short drive from the airport and about 15min. to Disney. The property is a little older (popcorn ceilings, mirrored bathroom walls etc) But it was very clean & quiet. We even watched fireworks from the screened in balcony. We weren't there long enough to use any of the amenities but it seems like there's a lot to do and the grounds are really pretty

Great Spot

Wonderful location and the place was great. Only downfall is you can hear all the noise from the room above. There was a large family with kids and it sounded like they were wrestling all night long so it made it difficult to sleep.
