Beautiful location. The property is very well kept and is fitted with all the necessary amenities. The host was very accessible and prompt. Direct access to the beach was a big plus for kids, they loved it. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful family getaway

We loved our time at this property. Dean was super communicative the whole time and the cottage was well stocked with essentials. The lake views were incredible. Plenty of outdoor seating to choose from. We enjoyed daily walks on the private beach collecting sea glass and had many campfires listening to the waves. Close enough drive to Point Pelee National Park for some birding and sightseeing. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Great cottage, Great location, Great host

3 birding couples had a perfect stay at Dean’s Sunrise Bay cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept. The kitchen was completely outfitted and all the beds were comfortable. Communication with the host was seamless. Our group would surely stay again.

Amazing view, comfortable large home

Wonderful stay, Dean was super responsive to messages. Perfect spot for our group of 8!! Lots of room to play games, very nice large dining table. Two ways to get to the beach. Amazing deck right on the water

Sunrise Bay rental

Beautiful cottage to rent for a relaxing holiday. Cottage offers everything you need, lots of room for family. Dean the host is amazing to deal with. Wonderful Lake Erie views, birdwatching and nature.

Blew my expectations!

The location and the scenery around this property is breathtaking. There’s so many activities to do and the host was very accommodating to our needs. They had provided all the amenities that were promised and more! We had very comfortable stay and will definitely visit again!!

Excellent Getaway Cottage!

We stayed here for a weekend to get away from the city noise. Excellent quiet area, with an incredible view of Lake Erie. The cottage itself has everything you need and more. Finally, Dean is an excellent host and communicator. 5/5, would recommend.

WOW!!!

The house itself was very well kept and extremely clean!! Dean gave very clear instructions on how everything worked and was responsive to any questions. The house is very comfortable and fully stocked and the property is absolutely stunning!! It was easy access to Point Peely National Park and near Leamington. I definitely suggest This location for a wonderful, relaxin and comfortable stay.

Nice place

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Better than advertised. Close to some great hiking, biking, kayaking, birding and Geocaching. The birds at the bird feeders are a treat to watch out the large windows.

Great Views and House

Went for the weekend with Mom to go to Point PeeLee to see how it changed since she was last there in the 50s. The cabins she stayed within the park are long gone. Great sunrise and views of migrating birds and monarch butterflies. Lots of room for everyone. Nice location.

The Beauty of Lake Erie

The property is beautiful many Muskoka chairs a great fire pit, an amazing deck with two private beaches. We live in a condominium and we have a little Shitzu who loved the property chasing the birds and the rabbits. Got to meet Dean nice man….All in All it was a great time and will do it again. Lake Retreat

Gorgeous views. Loads of space. Easy and responsive communication with Dean. Fire pit, deck, private beach, loads of games, all round great place. Extra firewood and an extra tank for the BBQ, very thoughtful. Very clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend for a couple or a family.

Wonderfully quiet and close to nature

We came for a three night visit in early spring, both to do some birding in the region and to observe the total eclipse of the sun. This location was perfect for both. In early April, the yard with its multiple feeders was well stocked with both late winter and early spring birds, and the chance to watch waterbirds pass on the lake was lovely too. Wheatley Provincial Park is right next door, and Point Pelee is just a short drive. The yard has a great firepit and very nice beach access, all of which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to chill with the family

We had a great time, it was clean and comfortable for all 6 of us. Property was well kept and very quiet. All the amenities were as listed and more. Felt a little bad leaving the towels and linens for Dean as there is no accessible laundry but We understand. Great location, out of town but not too far. Would definitely recommend the property to friends and family

Peaceful Happiness

We can't say enough about this cozy cottage with all the amenities. Dean was great with communicating, and the cottage was super clean and welcoming. The cottage has lots of space to spread out. The deck has a cozy seating area where you can listen to the birds and waves while you drink your morning coffee. If you're lucky the deer will make an appearance too. Easy drive to Leamington if you find you forgot something. Whether you're going with family, or a group of friends this place is perfect. Board games are available if you meet a rainy day, or you can spend the day sitting on the deck overlooking the lake if it's beautiful out. We will definitely be back!

Pure magic!

It is the perfect setting for your sweet escape. Whether you’re leaving city life to recharge your soul, or need peaceful surroundings to quiet your mind, this is the place! The view is inspiring, and the waves crashing along the shoreline was serene. Epic swimming as well! You will see so many beautiful birds, butterflies & fireflies at dusk. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a Bluejay visiting the feeder. The cottage is decked out with every convenience you’ll need. Spacious, inviting with some special artwork neatly displayed throughout. If you can’t tell, I just loved our week spent at Sunrise. The host, Dean was incredible, always answered our questions without delay, with a sense of humor which is always nice & comforting.
