The house is an architecturally designed new build located at the beautiful Kai Iwi Beach. It has stunning panoramic views of the sea from the living areas and master bedroom with spectacular sunsets. Large sliding doors mean the living areas can be opened right up to the sea air. A short walk and you can be down at Kai Iwi beach enjoying a swim or taking the kids for a walk to the playground located by the beach.

Great stay catching up with friends

We meet twice a year to catch up and reminisce, in a nice location somewhere in NZ.We were lucky with the weather for the 4 days we were here and had some lovely excursions and walks on the beach.The sunsets didn't disappoint and we enjoyed the views and spacious house, relaxing with good food and wine.

Beautiful, modern home with great view

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Well designed to take in the great view. Short walk to beach and short drive to town. Harriet was so easy to work with. Comfortable and well equipped home. Couldn't ask for more.

Stellar views!

We stayed at this property over the Auckland anniversary long weekend with our two children and we were overly impressed with the quality of the home including the location! Kai Iwi is such a hidden gem and the beach down below the house was amazing to swim at with lifeguards and a huge park nearby for the kids. We would love to return!

Mini break

We had a fantastic stay. The property was great and had everything we needed. Heaps of space for us to be together as a group and for the kids to chill out on their own. The vista was beautiful, and we enjoyed the evenings out on the deck. Thanks so much.

Amazing views

Outstanding home

All members of our family loved our experience at this property, from elderly parents, to youngest grandchild. We didnt realise that there were stairs, as elderly father is not so mobile, but he managed well. Would recommend property very highly.

Lovely new house with stunning views

Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely new house in a small coastal settlement about 15 mins drive from Whanganui. Very clean and tidy, great bathrooms and even has a butlers pantry. Would definitely come back. Owner was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Mum’s breakaway

We were a group of 7 friends (all mums), looking for a nice relaxing weekend away from our busy lives. The house was absolutely lovely and the views are stunning. Family friendly with amazing views

The spacious property was perfect for our family. The panoramic view was amazing and the facilities were on point. Recycling bins and some bigger mirrors would be the only suggestion I have. Otherwise if we’re in the area again - this is absolutely where we’d stay.

Perfect mini break to recharge your batteries

Beautifully appointed home, stunningly views and close enough to whanganui that we could pop to the Saturday morning river market with ease. Most comfy beds! Lots of space for everyone. Had a wonderful weekend. Information about peanut allergy would have been helpful at time of booking to ensure no peanuts were taken to the house. we're keennto make this a yearly trip! Magical Stay!

Our group of family and friends had a great stay in Kai Iwi at the bach. The house was clean and comfortable with everything needed for a weekend getaway. The veiws from the deck were stunningly beautiful and we were very lucky to have perfect weather and got to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets from the deck both nights we stayed. We are hoping to return for another stay, maybe next time we will bring the kids. Thanks again for sharing your amazing home with us.

Exceptional Home ad Location

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! The incredible views were one thing but the house was immaculate with a style of design that’s hard to beat. My wife and I are building a home in California USA and we took notes on what we would like to include in our design. The great communication with Harriet was so helpful and we would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

House with a view

Lovely house with great view and very comfortable. Harriett was a good host and contact was good. House will be great when heating/cooling is installed and also curtains to block out sunlight. Hope to return again one day.
