Exactly what we Needed

This house was a great find. I didn’t realize how big the creek and yard were when we booked it. It is so big we played full family football and baseball everyday, and then went for a swim and creek hike after all within the property. We had activities planned for the week but we ended up just being outside in the backyard almost all of the time. Katie was really responsive and the house had everything we needed. We are a big family and all of us fit comfortably. We’ll be coming back again for sure.

Great stay

We had such a great time at this property. It was even better than the listing. My kids loved throwing rocks in the creek in the back and running along the back yard. The s’mores kit was such a sweet touch and we took full advantage!! This was by far one of the nicest place we have stayed and can’t wait to come again. So peaceful and exactly what our family needed. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Restful Retreat

There is so much to say about this beautiful cabin and property! The interior had the perfect setup for our family of 6. The house was clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. Plenty of towels and pillows! All the beds were very comfortable and we all slept so well. The screened in porch was the perfect way to start our morning with coffee and listening to the creek. As lovely as the interior of this house is, it’s the exterior that makes it really special. The property is very well kept. The large grassy flat yard was perfect for our kids to play football and frisbee. Then there is the creek access which was where the kids spent most of their time exploring and playing. We all agreed that ending our evening around the huge fire pit was our favorite! We had a restful and relaxing time and made so many great memories. We hope to visit again soon —maybe in the fall next time!

Makes the heart happy

So many options for fun but spent most of our time taking in the beauty of the surroundings and relaxing by the fire. One of the best parts was listening to the river as we relaxed on the porch and took in the views. Warm home and extremely clean. Hosts were very helpful and provided everything we needed. Looking forward to staying again soon.

Creek Side Bliss!!! Amazing Backyard!

This home really had it all for our family of 6! We loved having two screened in porches overlooking the giant backyard while the kids played. I can’t decide what I liked more, the green green grass yard or the easy access creek that the kids called a “River” ;) The kids went back and forth all day. We really never needed to leave. The kitchen and rooms were stocked with everything we needed and the beds were SO comfortable!! Our mornings were spent cuddling in their cozy blankets on the porch, we played in the yard all day, and had s’mores and game night until bed. Honestly, it was much needed family vacation to reset after our busy Spring! Katie was super responsive and detailed with check in information and we took a lot of her recommendations. It was an easy weekend! Can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

Perfect Family Mountain Getaway!

If you are looking to make memories as a family, this is your spot! The owners are friendly and helpful, the house was spotless and well stocked when we arrived and the property is beautiful. Our 4 kids spent hours playing on the screened in porch, exploring the creek and chasing fireflies. The town of Ellijay has some great restaurants (Cantaberry and River Street Tavern) and shops. We were able to hike with our 4 kids (6 and under) very successfully at Long Creek Falls and the West Ridge trail at Amicalola Falls. Both are definitely worth the trip and there are many more beautiful hikes in the area. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!
