Welcome to the Misty Moose vacation property, your escape to the mountains! Our beautiful, family friendly rental property is located in the heart of Canmore in the Canmore Crossing Building and is the perfect place for your next getaway. With breathtaking views, endless outdoor activities and all the amenities you need to feel right at home, this mountain retreat is an experience you won’t forget.

It was a great home base. Safe place to stay. Kitchen had all we needed. Noticed a few repairs needed. Sinks slow and windows needed worked on.

Perfect location for Families

If you like convenience, warm home feel, amenities, mountian views and less tourists, this is the place for your stay in Canmore. 25 min from town of Banff and the National park. Plenty of space for a family and two full bathrooms. Super clean and owner/management very responsive. Make sure to reserve hot tub on rooftop in advance since it books fast.

Amazing stay and location

The property was absolutely perfect for our two families. Between the location in Canmore, the amenities of the property and communication with the owner we will 100% be looking to come back here. Could not recommend this property any more!

Lovely stay

The process was very easy, the house was so very well maintained. We all really loved it. My wife is expecting so we really liked the safety and process of parking and ease of walking to the city centre. I would certainly rate this as one of the best experience. Thanks again for making our experience so amazing.

Nice place, no air conditioning

Nice place. NO AIR CONDITIONING so it got really warm during the day and didnt cool off very much at night. Bathroom wasnt very clean. Had soap on the shower walls from whoever stayed there before us. Hair on the towels before we had used them. Otherwise it was in a very nice location and fit 6 adults nicely.

Just what we were hoping for!

The place was terrific. It had everything we needed and more. It was clean, comfortable and easy to access all necessities (food store, liquor store). We love Canmore and would be happy to stay here again. I have been planning this trip as an 18th birthday and graduation present for my grandson and it worked out perfectly. Skiing at Lake Louise and a dog sled adventure....loved it.

Convenient location for amenities and comfortable for socializing and dining. Both bathroom sinks were blocked throughout our two day stay which was disappointing.

Great stay, highly recommend

Lindsay’s property was the perfect spot for our family. There was plenty to do in Canmore and the location was great for skiing around Banff. The condo was clean and had all necessary baby amenities. The hot tub had a booking process but was never occupied during our stay so it wasn’t an issue. Thanks for a great vacation!

I know this place was very clean and we were pleased with the location. The only thing we would critique is the shower needed to be drained and needed a plumber.

Wonderful base for a Rocky Mountain adventure!

Misty Moose was the perfect base for our stay in Canmore. The apartment was exactly as described and suited our family perfectly for exploring Canmore, as well as the surrounding areas. The extra touches (Christmas tree and decorations) were lovely. Kitchen was fully equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. Lindsay was a wonderful host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as part of our Canadian adventure.

Thus property had lots of extras! So many games and puzzles (no need to bring your own). Beds are comfortable, and bunk bed set is big, it pulls out even further to add another single or a double. Welcome, My name is Lindsay and I am excited to be a new host of the Misty Moose Property! I have always had a love for the outdoors and nature which is why we chose Canmore for our first rental property where we can enjoy the beauty and adventure of the mountains and are able to share that experience with our guests as well. I am a mom of two young girls and our family lives on an acreage west of Edmonton with our cat, Jake, and our oversized Bernese mountain dog, Russell. As a family we love to camp in the summers, and take in some great hikes, fishing and paddle boarding. Winters we are ski bums including downhill and cross country. Throughout the year I also volunteer with a Wildlife rehabilitation centre for orphaned and injured birds and small mammals. I lived in Canmore for a few years when I was younger and know the area quite well and look forward to being a host here so I can create some fantastic memories for our guests.

Our location is one of the most convenient locations in Canmore! While surrounded by mountains you are within a short walking distance to Canmore's main street/ downtown area with loads of shops and some of the best restaurants/ pubs in town! If you feel like eating in... the grocery store is within the same parking lot. Bus stop for the ROAM transit is right across the street so no need to drive if you don't want to. Canmore is surrounded by activities for everyone and all ages in both summer and winter, which makes it one of the top destinations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do :)
