"Payson House" är rymligt med magnifik, fri utsikt över träd och bergsområden från inifrån och ut. Huset ligger i ett lugnt område. Koppla av på verandan gunga och titta på fåglar och kolibrier flyga genom. Vardagsrummet har bekväma lädermöbler med stora fönster för att njuta av utsikten. Huset har fyra sovrum, två badrum och sover 12 bekvämt. (Det finns 2 lädersoffor om du vill sova 14)
    Payson House är en bra plats ...... i Payson! Bara 1 km från Beeline Hwy (87), så kommer du att vara nära staden för alla dina shoppingbehov, från livsmedelsbutiker, restauranger, teater. park och Mazatzal Casino. Om du bara vill sparka tillbaka och koppla av eller ta det stora utomhuset, erbjuder Payson House båda.
Otroligt vandringsområde bara 2 minuter bort med lätt till mellanliggande vandring, med spår som leder till toppen av bergskedjan som du kan se från vår visning däck .... vackert! (Ta med din kikare!) Superb Mountainbike bara några minuter bort!
Lounge i "Little Forest-området" nedanför huvudhuset där du hittar en eldstaden och bänkar för avslappnad konversation eller för en större grupp. Placera ett tält (t) och se stjärnorna på natten medan du äter en läcker smörgås. Det finns också en HorseShoe grop !! Vi har också ett biljardbord och ett bordtennisbord!
Om du gillar att fiska, finns många sjöar på Mogollon Rim. Du är bara trettio minuter från Roosevelt sjön som är känd för fantastiskt bassfiske. Östra Verdefloden ligger bara 20 minuter bort och är lagrad varje vecka under fiskesäsongen. Ägaren får vanligtvis sin gräns nästan varje utflykt. Bara fyrtio minuter är Kohls Ranch, som erbjuder ridning och fiske på Tonto Creek. Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery är ett måste se! Den naturliga bron är värt att kolla också .... bara 15 minuter bort. Zane Grey Museum som ligger i Payson är ett populärt resmål.
VI ÄR PETVÄNLIGT! Utanför är vår bakdörr ett bra ställe att gå med på dina husdjur. Om din hund gillar vattnet, är Lake Greenlake Park ett måste! Om din hund gillar att vandra det tidigare nämnda vandringsområdet är perfekt!

Great Location

The property was well maintained. the location in town was excellent. The pictures on the website were very actuate. The Host communicated quickly and answered all questions. The home was clean and well kept. When looking for a place in town and close to shopping and restaurants, this is the place you should consider.

Christmas in April

Nestled within the tall pine trees. Very quiet regardless of other homes around. Has a game room that kept we participated playing games. Very clean in and out. Went fishing, site seeing, gambling, saw young elk in Pine. Shopped in near by towns. Enjoyed Beeline cafe, and the Bandit. We able to reach Doug at any time if needed. Very kind and helped us recover an item that we left behind. They are awesome! Highly recommended his rental. Thank you!

Family Friendly

The home was spacious and welcoming. The view from the back deck was beautiful. Inside plenty of room for sitting six kids and adults. The game room was a hit. Playing ping pong with the family. Kid’s love to play outside and how nice it was to have a nice fire pit outside with the family sitting around eating s’mores.

Lovely stay in Payson!

The house is wonderful! We enjoyed the quiet—with sounds of birds—from the large and comfortable deck with a swing seat. The deck has views of the immediate open natural area and a more distant forested hill. We saw lizards, a javelina, elk, hawks, and hummingbirds from the deck, in the natural area behind the house. We enjoyed quiet walks and exploration with children right off of the back of the house, with shaded, quiet seating near the fire pit. The house is large, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with blankets, towels, a laundry room, and everything one might need for all sorts of cooking. The house was very comfortable for our party of 6, including a toddler and preteen child. It is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful place to stay! Thank you!

get out of the heat

hosted my Phoenix family in July to get out of the heat a bit. (15 degrees makes a difference) Great home, location and everything you need. Worked well with dogs. July 4th great show in Payson. Host was excellent and helpful. would happily stay again.

loved this view!

The pictures do not tell the story of this back yard view! We loved this neighborhood so much we decided to buy a place in the area. It is quiet with beautiful views, and we enjoyed neighborhood walks and relaxing on this deck. This is a great spot for a family gathering. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is the carpet needs to be cleaned and the living room furniture is past it's lifetime, but everything else was very clean and we had a great time.

Family Getaway

After a canceled softball tournament we still made the trip and enjoyed the company of family. Even thought weather had us inside most of the time there was plenty to keep us busy. Once the sun came out we were close to parks and made less then 15 min trip to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park.

Nice family home

We stayed in Doug & Patricia’s family home for our family’s spring break with children ranging in age from 5-12 years old. In total there were 7 of us. Pros: Lovely view, nice back porch. Close to town. Pool table/ping pong. Well stocked kitchen! Ample sleeping arrangements & comfortable bedding. Large family table for dining. Kids games/legos for entertainment. Little updates throughout the home have made it feel very welcoming & inviting. Cons Hosts seemed confused regarding our arrival date initially. House was very cold on arrival and set at 55 degrees. Took awhile to heat up and max temp is set at 69 degrees. Non-functioning bath tub made it difficult to give our twin 5 year olds a bath. No dishwasher.

What a great experience!

We went up hoping to catch some snow and got there just before and left just after it arrived. The property was well heated, and the snowy view was amazing. The owners offer great amenities, the bedrooms offered lots of sleeping options, and the pool table was a blast. The walking trails were great for the dogs, who really enjoyed the wrap-around deck. Any questions we had were quickly answered and the available wood was a lifesaver when we didn't want to drive in the snow. Thanks!

Weekend Getaway

We spent a long weekend with friend/family in Payson hiking and fishing while escaping the Phoenix heat. Loved the property including the view off the deck, fire pit and ping pong / pool table!

In 1960, my folks moved to Phoenix from Chicago and after spending their first summer in Phoenix they decided to spend their summers in Payson. We have continued the tradition of spending our summers in Payson as well as throughout the year, only with friends and family and others who feel the need to get away. My hope is that all who vacation at The Payson House thoroughly enjoy their stay and the incredible beauty the Rim Country has to offer.

The Payson House is located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the Granite Dells Mountain range. I like the fact that you feel secluded but only 5 minutes from shopping and restaurants. Most guests make comments on the great view and the homey feel.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The Headline tells the story. The Payson House is unique in that you feel very much in the forest and at the same time in a quiet neighborhood close to town. My favorite place is on the swing on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee. Views of the mountains aren't too bad either!! Incredible Hiking just 5 minutes away due south in the Granite Dells Mountain Range, that you can view from our deck.... best hiking in the Payson area! Very quiet neighborhood!
