Välkommen till The Gateway Cottage! Vår vackra exklusiva 1765 sf "stuga" färdigställdes 2008 ligger på över 7000 "höjd i en naturlig miljö på en lugn tunn kyla tallar i norra Arizona. Vi ligger bara några minuter öster om Williams, porten till Grand Canyon, där du hittar gott om shopping för det mesta du behöver. Det är en enkel 45 minuters / 60 mils bilresa till den södra kanten av Grand Canyon, och med Flagstaff 25 minuter och Sedona en timme bort är detta ett fantastiskt centralt läge !! Den smakfullt inredda inredningen inkluderar 2 KING sovrum och 2 fulla bad samt ett sovloft med en QUEEN-säng och en TWIN-säng, samt en QUEEN-bäddsoffa och pack-n-play-spjälsäng rymmer bekvämt upp till 9 vuxna gäster. Senaste uppdateringar har gjorts med nya gardiner i vardagsrum och sovrum och nya täcken på sängar på loft, ny mikrovågsugn och ny 43 "UHD-TV i sovrummet i nedre våningen, nytt Dishnet Hopper satellit-tv-system 2/11/19, färsk interiörfärg februari 2019 , alltid pågående uppdateringar och uppgraderingar för att hålla vårt hem uppdaterat. Se stjärnorna genom takfönstren från king size-sängen i befälhavaren och drottningssängen på loftet. Båda sovrummen har en tv och en DVD-spelare. Det fullt utrustade köket innehåller allt du behöver, ta med dina matvaror och laga en enkel eller gourmetmåltid. Tvättstugan har sängkläder och handdukar. Utomhus avkoppling på däck, eldstaden eller verandan. Det finns en fast linje (telefon) i huset för lokala samtal. Roliga aktiviteter (vinter och sommar) finns i närheten, inklusive Grand Canyon, Sedona, Grand Canyon Railway / Polar Express, Bearizona och Deer Farm, samt museer, observatorier och friluftsliv som fiske, vandring, skidåkning, pulka och mer . The cabin worked perfectly for our trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. The cabin was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the front and back covered porches. We sat by the bonfire one night and that was a lot of fun. We cooked several meals at home and the kitchen worked perfectly and was well stocked. We loved watching the Stellar Jays and squirrels every morning play near the back patio.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war einfach. Allerdings war uns bei der Buchung nicht bekannt, dass trotz der Lage im Wald reger Bahnverkehr herrscht. Die Bahn fuhr alle 20 Minuten, auch in der Nacht. Die Bahn war deutlich zu hören und ist bei einem leichten Schlaf nicht zu empfehlen, Schade.

Very sweet and cozy property. Very clean and great rustic decor. Everything was as was described in the listing. Just a few minutes from downtown Williams, Bearizona, coaster and more. We loved the quietness of the neighborhood and the wildlife around us. We will definitely be coming up again!

Really beautiful property. However there’s a train that runs at night several times and unfortunately sleeping through the night was an issue for a few of us. For context the train tracks are about a 3 minute car ride away. Keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, great location if you’re heading to the Grand Canyon or any of the local attractions. The kids loved the play set. The cleaning fee is 150 which was a bit annoying considering you have to leave the kitchen spotless as opposed to other rentals where you can typically at least clean up the kitchen and leave the dishwasher running but here everything needs to be dried and put away before you leave. A small nuisance. We found several of other people’s socks while staying, but other than that the property was clean.

Property is located in a very quiet, secluded, forested neighborhood. Interior is decorated beautifully and had a plethora of kitchen amenities, pitss, pans, appliances, spices, etc...coffee, tea, cocoa, selection was excellent. Instructions given upon booking and before arrival were complete and precise.

Family time

We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable and has plenty of space. The loft space was perfect for the kids to sleep in and then the two king rooms were perfect for the adults. The kids loved the back play set. Beautiful area!! We will be back

Williams Get away

This place was just as pictured. Very nice, CLEAN, and the beds very comfortable. Worked great for our family. They could have the whole loft and king bedroom with balcony off it for a place to go and have to themselves. House very roomy and the. Kitchen was well stocked. Host answers promptly and is very gracious

Great Family Getaway

This was our second time staying at the cabin and it was as great as the first time! The kitchen has everything you need, comfortable furniture and plenty of room at the table for the 8 of us. The kids love the loft and having 2 rooms both with king size beds is a huge plus! We enjoyed siting on the rocking chairs on the front porch and having dinner on the back deck. The cabin is so welcoming. I know we'll be back!

Great stay

This cabin was a surprise! It is much nicer than the pictures show. We had 4 adults and 5 kids that stayed and it worked out great for all of us. The kitchen has more than you need to fix meals and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back again.

Perfect place to stay if you are exploring Northern Arizona! Grand Canyon is an hours drive, Sadona is like 1.5 hours away. Less then 10 minutes to Williams. Worth every penny.

Peaceful Place to Uneind

This place was awesome to stay. My family and I felt so comfortable staying here. The house had everything we needed to cook, barbecue and just hang out .The grocery store is about 20 minutes from the place so on the way to the house it was easy to pick up groceries before heading to the house . We would definitely recommend staying here .

This cabin was great! The hosts had everything you could need for your stay. Plenty of room for our family of four. The cabin is in a nice neighborhood and was easily accessible.

Our names are Darrel & Merrie, we met in Williams & have been married 52 years. We have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We live in Surprise, AZ, but I (Merrie) grew up in the area, and have always called it "home". We love the mountains, pines and the quiet pace of the location.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We purchased the acre of land in 2002 because of the quiet, forest setting and dreamed of the day we would see our cabin there on the property. We sketched our vision, and took the drawings to a draftsman who drew the plans. We sub-contracted the construction beginning in 2005, and it was 100% hands on for us, doing much of the work ourselves. The home was (for the most part) completed in 2007. There was no intention of renting our home at the time, but with the economy crunch in 2009, we made the choice to share our home as a vacation rental, rather than selling it, which would have crushed us. We are consistent in keeping the home updated with furnishings and appliances, and are confident you will enjoy the property, making many happy memories there. PLEASE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THOSE WITH ALLERGIES, DO NOT BRING A PET/ESA/SERVICE ANIMAL TO OUR HOME.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There is a peacefulness you'll feel when staying at our home, and the proximity to the Grand Canyon, Williams, Bearizona, The Grand Canyon Railway, Flagstaff and Sedona makes our home perfect for daily outings taking in all the sites. We enjoy taking the family to the cabin to enjoy the cool weather in summer. The smell of the pines, relaxing around the fire pit and taking walks in the forest, along with the occasional sightings of the deer, elk, antelope among other critters in the area are a welcome change of pace. The Kaibab squirrels that live in the neighborhood enjoy the handouts and are very entertaining. Winters are beautiful with the fresh snow, sledding and holidays with spiced cider, hot chocolate and popcorn we provide. Christmas in Williams is a sight to behold, with the parade and the lighting of the huge Christmas tree. Boarding the Polar Express is a joy for the kiddies, young and old. Bearizona Wildlife Park and The Deer Farm are a must see, near Williams, only a few miles away. (Sorry, we do not host pets, including service animals, in consideration of those with allergies).
